We had dinner last night at L’Appennino restaurant and were extremely satisfied with the food.
The variety of bruschetta was a great start, followed by a tagliata and some truly exquisite Florentine steaks, expertly cooked and of the highest quality. A special mention goes to the handmade potatoes: you can immediately taste the difference compared to industrial products, an authentic flavor that is rare these days. Everything was accompanied by an excellent wine, which perfectly enhanced the flavors of the meat.
The only complaint concerns the atmosphere: the place was very crowded and noisy, which made it difficult to have a calm conversation during dinner.

A great discovery, even though we're locals.
We had a day off and tried to tour the Mugello villages, choosing it randomly, also based on the reviews.
From the moment we entered, we noticed the kindness and attentiveness of the owners.
The attention to service and preparation of the dishes was meticulous.
We opted for a complete house antipasto and a mixed grill with Florentine steak, spoiler: obviously, we couldn't finish it.
The platter was well-prepared and the ingredients fresh, the grilled meats generously sized, and the different meats were cooked to perfection: the Florentine steak melted in your mouth.
More than average for the location, the service, and the products offered.

My wife and I went for dinner, drawn by the positive reviews, especially about the Florentine steak, and indeed, everything was as described: excellent food and excellent meat, courteous manager and staff, and a welcoming atmosphere.
