A special place. We arrived when the kitchen was already closed, but they let us eat anyway. The food was delicious, homemade. The owners were so kind; we chatted with them for a long time! We felt so comfortable that we even took a photo together afterward :)

For lunch, four of us had two first courses (pasta with wild boar sauce) and two second courses (polenta with donkey stew ragu), half a bottle of wine, water, and one dessert. Total cost: €77.00.

Simple but good food, in my opinion a little expensive for the quality

During a trip to the magical setting of Lago delle Fate, we stopped at the Lanti restaurant and enjoyed a genuine gastronomic experience rich in authentic flavors. We sampled two traditional Ossola dishes: polenta with melted cheeses and polenta with tapulone. 🧀 The polenta with cheeses was creamy and rich, with a bold yet well-balanced drizzle of local cheeses, served in a hot terracotta pot that further enhanced its aroma and texture. 🍖 The tapulone—a historic dish made with finely minced donkey meat, slowly cooked with vegetables—was extraordinarily tender and flavorful, accompanied by a rustic polenta, perfectly dense and compact. A true immersion in the flavors of traditional Piedmont. The staff was kind and welcoming, the service quick and attentive, and the surrounding natural setting made the experience even more enjoyable. A place I recommend to anyone who wants to rediscover authentic mountain flavors in a relaxed, family atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

The staff are friendly and courteous. The location is just before the Fairy Lake. Don't expect a large restaurant menu, but the food is good and unpretentious, with excellent cured meats. Good value for money.
