In Gerola Alta for a two-month holiday, I discovered the Ancora restaurant while walking through the streets of Morbegno. The "work" menu until Friday is very convenient and practical, at 14 euros including water and coffee... still very high and satisfying quality. At the weekend only à la carte menus, at honest prices, and I assure you that... you will lick your chops! Extremely friendly and fast staff, impeccable and courteous service! Living in Brianza, about an hour's drive away, I will also come once I get home! Well done, keep going! 💖

An excellent solution. You eat well, you drink well and you spend the right amount. Bitto risotto and Sassella top! But tagliolini with game ragù and pizzoccheri are also worth it. Excellent Angus steak.
The portions arrive just right... but they are ready with encores and trios.
The house wine is a little expensive.
Overall, very good.

My husband and I had dinner here on October 31st, discovering that that very evening Elio and Patrizia, the wonderful and quick owners of the restaurant, had organized a Valencian paella themed evening. Despite looking excellent, we preferred to abandon ourselves to tradition, ordering some mouth-watering sciatt, simply perfect, a masterfully prepared tzigoiner with potatoes, and a barley soup with crunchy bresaola which was a real treat.
The places that are so strong on first and second courses don't always manage to maintain the same quality in desserts, and instead we were deliciously satisfied until the end. I ate a cake with pieces of pear and chocolate flakes, served hot, which was wonderful, and instead my husband was tempted by the Braulio sorbet, a pleasure.
The house wine is excellent, the autumn decorations in the room are adorable, and the fact that a restaurant with a long tradition is committed to keeping the city alive by organizing themed evenings is commendable.

The best pizzocheri I've ever eaten in my life, very clean, welcoming place, friendly staff always with a smile, the food was of good quality, all the ingredients were noticeable but not strong. Family atmosphere and also romantic and traditional dessert made by them, I will definitely come back because I love the pd restaurant: they told me that this restaurant used to be fish based which is why the name "again" but now it's all local food and the staff serves you with traditional clothes a live show highly recommended 😊😊

Merci à Patricia et Gabriel qui nous ont régalé avec des plats extraordinaires.
Seul inconvénient c est quand on termine son assiette. C est tellement délicieux que l on déprime quand le plat est vide et propre. Patricia et Gabriel sont de fabuleux professionnels qui font partager leur passion de la cuisine. Merci encora pour cet immense plaisir.
