Hello, and here we are again on the road 😎
As you all know by now, my reviews are sincere and, above all, real.
Today we chose to have lunch at the Lago Maggiore pizzeria restaurant, where we'd already had lunch a year earlier and found excellent service, remembering the lovely experience.
I opted for a Diavola pizza, while my companion had a mushroom risotto.
The food was good, the pizza a little salty, but overall good.
Afterwards, we ordered two coffees, and here, unfortunately, is a sore point.
As we were finishing our coffees, the waiter came to the table with the bill in hand, saying we had to leave because there were other people waiting to be seated.
I'd like to point out that it generally takes an occupied table an hour to an hour and a half to eat. Perhaps you could relax for those 10-15 minutes and not be kicked out after 35 minutes.
Half the room was practically empty.
Furthermore, upon arrival, it would have been appropriate to inform you that the table had to be vacated within thirty minutes.
I don't feel like not recommending this restaurant, but before you go, make sure you have enough time to eat to avoid having your food stick in your stomach (like what happened to us).

We had a very good meal the day before participating in the 10km Lake Maggiore Marathon event.
We ordered pasta. The portion size is a bit small for a single dish, so we ordered an average of three pasta dishes between the two of us. The average price per pasta dish was €13. The service was a little slow but friendly.

A small, family-run restaurant. Very good food, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Many local customers, which speaks volumes about the quality. Well worth a visit.

Excellent restaurant. Clean place, friendly staff, and truly well-prepared dishes. The portions are just right, the flavors are balanced, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Fast service and fair prices. Recommended for anyone who wants to eat well!

It's the second time I've been back, Stresa is touristy, it's true, but finding restaurants run by family businesses like Maria and Gianni makes the difference, their hospitality and friendliness is unique, don't forget to finish your dinner or lunch with the tiramisu made by them with Amaretti, it will surprise you.
