La Veranda dei Pescatori (Lake Como) was unbelievable. Like… this is what you picture when you think “I’m really in Italy right now.” The lake fish risotto was insane — creamy, delicate, perfectly cooked, and tasted like Lake Como on a plate. The beef carpaccio was unreal too, super clean and fresh, and the caviar just sent it over the top. Service was 10/10 — smooth, classy, never annoying, always there when you need them. And even the champagne was perfect. Everything felt effortless but high level. Food: 5 | Service: 5 | Atmosphere: 5 If you’re in Lake Como and you don’t come here, you’re doing it wrong. Only recommendation: don’t overthink it — get the risotto + carpaccio and let the night happen.

My wife and I visited Varenna on our honeymoon and were fortunate enough to find this gem. The shuttle service (a tuk tuk) with the hospitality of blankets is something we will never forget. The staff were very kind and attentive. The food was amazing. Overall great experience!

Staff is wonderful and restaurant is elegant. The views are breath taking and food is some of the best we have had on our trip! The ravioli with fish is melt in your mouth! This is an experience we will never forget thank you!

Unsure how this restaurant doesn’t have 5 stars - it is UNBELIEVABLE. From the free welcome prosecco to the mouthwatering food and great service, this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The views are stunning and the experience couldn’t have been better.

A restaurant in Varenna with a beautiful garden and lake view. I ate there on a Saturday for lunch, and I must say both the service and the food were truly excellent. We started with an appetizer of crostini with fresh cheese and sturgeon roe, followed by a platter of typical local products: bresaola, lard, other cured meats, and local cheeses—remarkable. We then moved on to the first courses: pizzoccheri, very good, risotto with perch, and Felicetti spaghetti with cherry tomatoes and coregpne...both remarkable. Good food and friendly service. Highly recommended.

13/05/2026: Congratulations on the excellent welcome and the location in a charming, old-fashioned yet charming room. The menu features only sandwiches. It's a shame, because a cold buffet would have been nice, perhaps without necessarily having to rely on traditional dining. The Gewurz Traminer wine is excellent. The owner's courtesy and friendliness made up for the limited menu. The view is spectacular, spanning the entire Po Valley, from Brianza down to Milan and beyond. Worth it!
10/05/2026: The perfect place to taste some truly excellent local wine and grab a bite to eat at any time of day; ask the talented Gaia, who will put you at your ease with professionalism and kindness.

03/05/2026: The beautifully set tables initially promised a high-quality meal. However, our first disappointment awaited us at the table. The chairs were an uncomfortable disaster. Both of the tables pushed together wobbled violently. When we asked if they had Fanta, we were served an unsweet Aranciata in a dirty glass. The shandy we ordered was just light beer mixed with water. The Aperol was served in a highball glass. The cutlery was already on the table and, unfortunately, wasn't clean at all. A tiny portion of carbonara cost €17 (and wasn't even filling). We ate really well and reasonably priced at Lake Como over the weekend, but this restaurant, for its location and ambiance, is simply not worth the price and is overpriced. The food itself was tasty, but just too expensive. The service staff was very friendly and attentive.
01/05/2026: Welcoming, excellent wine selection, friendly and helpful staff, good food. Add to that the reasonable prices... You'll definitely be back. It's worth a visit.
