We stayed a weekend in September via Smartbox. The location is quite isolated and difficult to reach, without directions from the owners, who sent us all the information on how to get there via WhatsApp the day before. The location is wonderfully immersed in the nature of Mount Subasio, with clean and well-maintained rooms. The mattresses are top marks, firm just as I like them, with pillows of varying firmness. The cuisine is also excellent, with carefully crafted traditional Umbrian dishes. The breakfast buffet is also quite rich and varied, with vegan and vegetarian options. If you love peace and quiet, this is the ideal place. We will definitely return. My recommendation is not to rely on GPS, which would take you on worse roads, but rather to follow the owners' directions.

Beautiful location but difficult to get to. The staff is friendly. The food is quite expensive but of good quality. The property could use some minor updating, especially the furnishings, but it has great potential.

I stayed with a Smart Box that was supposed to include two nights' half-board, but given the choice of location, it was already reduced to just a room with breakfast. The problem was the first and only dinner we had. Prices were outrageous. Two glasses of wine, a water, a mixed appetizer, a first course, a second course (vegetable strudel), a slice of cake, and a coffee. €100.00. Basically, to feed just one person, an outrageous amount. The road to get there is a whole program...

We stayed at La Tavola dei Cavalieri for a weekend with a smart box. A very beautiful place surrounded by nature, on Mount Subasio. The road is a bit complicated to get there. It's best to stay at the property in the evening. The rooms are typical of a farmhouse. Spacious and stylishly furnished. Functional. Good food. The only flaw...in a place like this, you expect homemade pasta. The menu may be a bit limited. But everything was good. The wine tasting...so-so. A little more information and a few more wines are needed. For this reason, I'm lowering my rating for the service. We didn't use the pool because the weather wasn't permitting, but I think it's a nice place to relax in the summer. I recommend it for anyone looking for a few days of pure relaxation surrounded by nature, although there are many places to see nearby, not just Assisi.

Wanting to escape from everyday life, eat delicious food, and relax in a welcoming, comforting, and captivating environment. Thrilled with this mini-vacation. Everything was perfect, except the road to get there. We'll be back.

We stayed one night with breakfast included at Tavola dei Cavalieri through Smartbox. It's a romantic, well-maintained place, with very friendly staff. Being isolated, you can enjoy absolute peace and quiet, which, for a light sleeper, is perfect. As for the location, I can say that, yes, the road isn't the best, but if the agriturismo were on a road, you wouldn't have the peace that distinguishes it. Also, we were told there wouldn't be a chef that evening, but the receptionist, Valeria, directed us to the restaurant at their other agriturismo, just a few minutes' drive away. We had a wonderful time; the dinner was excellent and the fresh local produce was top-notch. Prices were a bit high, but honestly, I found them to be more or less on par with other restaurants in the area (Assisi, Spello, Gubbio, etc.). Breakfast was limited but good, and the hostess was very kind. It's a shame we didn't enjoy the pool due to the rain, but overall, we would have happily stayed a few more days.

The location, despite the 8 km of dirt road to reach the property, is the only one that deserves full marks! I would put more effort into the cleanliness of the rooms and the inclusion of local products; breakfast is very lacking.

Beautiful farmhouse, surrounded by lush greenery, run by some very capable and kind people. We had a wonderful time and will be back soon.

My family and I stayed for three days in August and it was a very positive experience. The location was fantastic and the food was exceptional (the panna cotta was a must!). I didn't give it 5 stars because on the day of check-out, we asked to stay by the pool until 12:00 PM, especially since it had rained the day before, but the receptionist told us it wasn't possible due to company policy. Honestly, we were disappointed. Overall, it was definitely a positive experience.

Truly a fantastic experience. The rooms are practically in a village nestled on a hill overlooking the mountains. It's practically an oasis of relaxation. The pool is also very beautiful. A lovely veranda for dinner and breakfast. The room is small but comfortable. The staff is truly kind and helpful. The only downside is the very long road, full of hairpin bends and especially the last few kilometers are unpaved. I recommend using a car suitable for the mountains, not a low-slung one. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience, and one I'll repeat.
