If you want to eat a dish featuring top-quality local produce, served with kindness by young people, this is the place. We had gnocchi with venison ragù, spaghetti with bacon and pecorino cream, and they were excellent. We also ordered a half portion for our little one, and it was all delicious. We also had a mozzarella with seasonal vegetables. The young and polite people made us feel right at home. Thank you, and see you on your next mountain trip! Greetings from little Anna

A very quaint restaurant, small but charming. Very attentive and professional service. Good quality food, including some unique dishes. Our entrecote was a bit tough, but I don't think that's the norm. Definitely recommended.

I returned to this restaurant after several years, and I must say it confirmed my positive memories. The restaurant still has a rustic yet very pleasant feel, and the menu is refined and of the highest quality. The dishes are delicious, and the combinations, often very sophisticated, are surprising and never disappointing. The staff is always attentive and friendly. The price is commensurate with the high quality offered. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite places in the area! The place is very cozy and the food is always very good. The appetizer for two is very abundant and will make you happy, especially the carpaccio and the bruschetta with lard. The bill is fair.

Ci hanno consigliato di venire in questo posto...e devo dire che il consiglio è stato ottimo. Locale fantastico, tavolo super riservato e cibo super. Il personale è molto disponibile e gentile. Abbiamo preso un antipasto completo, veramente tutto molto molto buono, bruschette super. Pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale e tartufo veramente di livello. Unica piccola pecca il tiramisù che secondo me è una ricetta perfetta già di suo.. Perché rivisitarlo. Per il resto consigliatissimo

19/07/2025: We discovered Lo Sgabello Ristorante during a trip to Scanno and immediately fell in love! The first thing that strikes you is the kindness and hospitality of the staff: waiters are always smiling, helpful, and ready to passionately recommend the daily specials, making us feel right at home. The menu is a riot of local flavors: delicious dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, that showcase Abruzzo's traditions with a touch of originality. The portions? Truly generous! Forget about minimal dishes: here, you eat with gusto and satisfaction. Another great plus: dogs are welcome on the terrace, where you can dine while enjoying the splendid view of the mountains. An unusual touch that we greatly appreciated. And the icing on the cake: the quality-price ratio is excellent. You leave with a full belly, a light heart, and a healthy wallet. Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic, warm, and mouth-watering place! We'll definitely be back. 🐾🍝❤️

Abruzzo and Piedmont meet in the chef's dishes, and the extensive, carefully selected wine list offers a satisfying and relaxing experience. The service is expert and attentive, with thorough, yet concise, explanations of the dishes and wines, and the atmosphere is a welcoming blend of past and present. I recommend it for both an evening with friends and a romantic dinner.
04/08/2025: Ristorante carino, buona la location, abbastana buona l'accoglienza, meno la sistemazione nel tavolo assegnato sebbene al momento fossero possibili alternative. Negativa la presentazione del menù con diverse portate non disponibili e alternative poco chiare. Mancanza di contorni e verdure e atteggiamento un po' altezzoso della proprietaria, cortese ma fredda. Cucina buona ma troppo cara sia per il posto che per la varietà proposta.
