Ristorante La Sciarbonata In Montalbano elicona

I organized a trip to Montalbano and then I contacted Nino, the owner, a kind and helpful person for 51 people, we ate well, offering a good menu (also excellent wine list), also available in giving assistance to a disabled person and people in difficulty. I highly recommend. Just a note for the waiters not asking for money when drinks are ordered during the meal is not courteous nor indicative of cleanliness, in the end I was the one responsible if there was any problem. 😎

Everything was too good and the staff were super friendly. We will be back!!

Location: located above the municipality of Montalbano, the road to reach it is asphalted but quite steep, you need to be careful. The place is a very nice building, with a garden around it and also chairs and gazebos where you can drink coffee or rest. Menu: the offer of first courses is not very wide, but it is even better because it is home-made dishes with homemade macaroni. Food: well presented starter, with excellent dishes and the right doses. Even the first courses in the right portions and with lots of seasoning. Staff: helpful and approachable. Conclusions: it is a must to recommend it for lunch before or after a visit to the beautiful town of Montalbano Elicona, spending a few minutes in peace in the garden overlooking the town!

We had dinner at the La Sciarbonata Pizzeria Restaurant in Montalbano Elicona and we were thrilled! The welcoming and familiar atmosphere immediately won us over. We enjoyed genuine and tasty dishes, from delicious appetizers to pizza and homemade desserts, all truly excellent. Thanks also to the staff, who are always kind and attentive. Perfect dinner in an authentic corner of Sicily. We will definitely be back!

Few items on the menu but phenomenal. Whatever your choice, everything will always be exceptional. I heard the angels singing. I have been to many typical places but the quality of raw materials like this is truly unique. Excellent prices compared to the generous (but not too much) portions. Highly recommended. To return again and again.

A very welcoming place, run by very friendly staff. We stopped to chat with the very lovely cook/landlady, who told us the history of the place and its dishes. We ate an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, two first courses based on meat, sausage and mutton. The traditional dishes are delicious. Top quality ingredients, very soft and succulent meat. The rind, for example, could be cut with a fork and melted in the mouth. All at a really modest price. In short, it exceeded all expectations. Recommended for all lovers of good food.
