A very welcoming place, run by very friendly staff. We stopped to chat with the very lovely cook/landlady, who told us the history of the place and its dishes. We ate an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, two first courses based on meat, sausage and mutton. The traditional dishes are delicious. Top quality ingredients, very soft and succulent meat. The rind, for example, could be cut with a fork and melted in the mouth. All at a really modest price. In short, it exceeded all expectations. Recommended for all lovers of good food.

I can say one word excellent. I have known this restaurant for about 35 years, the father and the son are equally good with his mother Rita, typical, homemade dishes with high quality products. The staff in the dining room were up to the task, with Cristian always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended

Exceptional lunch. While passing through the region, we were blown away by the quality of this restaurant. The tartars were absolutely delicious, and the meat exceptional.

Typical restaurant of the area. Very nice, welcoming, with a breathtaking view of the small village of Montalbano di Elicona. It offers very good typical food from the area. Helpful, kind and professional staff. Very good food, plentiful and promptly. The restaurant is located on the ground floor making it easy to access for disabled people. Entering the restaurant you arrive in a wonderful room where all the walls are glass so you enjoy an amazing view of the mountain and the landscape. We went for lunch based on homemade pasta with Nebrodi pork sauce, a second course consisting of a mix of meat including sausage, mutton and beef. All very good. It seems to also be a pizzeria but we didn't try it because they don't do any for lunch.

Courteous staff
We definitely need to improve in several things (e.g. lack of side dishes, they only had green salad)

Il voto poteva essere più positivi se evitavamo di ordinare la pizza, infatti l'antipasto di salumi e formaggi, il castrato, la salsiccia e perfino il vino della casa sono risultati davvero buoni. La pizza invece, pur ingolosendos, ha lasciato nel palato e nella gola tanto tanto sale, segno che c'è un qualche problema nell'impasto. Quindi pizza da rivedere. Peccato perché la location è casereccia e quindi accogliente e il servizio si è adoperato per il meglio.

Posto molto accogliente e personale molto cortese e efficiente, antipasto con prodotti tipici ottimo primi buoni anche se c’è una scelta minima ed ottima carne alla brace!
Conto nella media, se vi trovate nei dintorni vale la pena
