Typical, welcoming, well-managed restaurant with excellent cuisine. I highly recommend it.

We discovered Osteria La Scaletta just a few weeks ago and immediately fell in love! Since then, it's officially become one of our favorite places to return to whenever we can. The welcome is fantastic: the staff are always incredibly kind, smiling, and make you feel at home. The dishes are plentiful and delicious. We tried appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts and were beyond satisfied! We were there for lunch today and even ordered dinner to take home: meatballs, lamb, and broccoli... 10 out of 10, even reheated. Congratulations to everyone!

A welcoming restaurant with excellent service. The food is high quality and the portions are just right. The prices, in my opinion, are a bit high. The only downside was our table near the door, which was noticeably cold every time it opened, but I understand the impossibility of finding a solution. Highly recommended.

The welcome and courtesy were excellent, and the dishes were well-served and truly tasty. Unfortunately, as is often the case these days, some customers behave inappropriately in an environment where the focus should be solely on the taste of the food.

The food is quite good but the prices are a bit too high for what you get.

My mother and I went for dinner tonight. We were in Sacrofano for an event and discovered this place. The staff was really kind and helpful, and the food was excellent. I had the pork cheek; it was delicious and melted in your mouth. A true gem. We'll definitely be back, bringing friends. I highly recommend it.

A very characteristic place in the charming village of Sacrofano. We went without a reservation. The service was truly impeccable, and the place was packed. The young woman who served us was excellent. Top-notch crostini, excellent gricia accompanied by a good Chianti. Very competitive prices. Highly recommended. We ate in the cooler basement room with a lovely atmosphere.

I'm taking the liberty of writing this review because, as a resident of Sacrofano, it's been 15 years or more since I've been to La Scaletta for a bite to eat. We're talking about a restaurant that's been a staple of Roman outings, along with two others from the village. Now, however, the former owner, tired of his job, has handed over the reins to some young but capable guys. That's precisely why I want to write something. High praise is the least I can give: you feel right at home (just like before), the guys are smart and kind, eager to please, the quality is excellent, the pasta is handmade, and among the specials of the day they had grilled mushrooms (porcini and cardonecelli)—I had them twice, amazing! My partner had burrata ravioli with a variety of tomatoes, amazing! You could taste the variety of flavors in every bite. I, on the other hand, had the fettuccine with mushrooms (again)—excellent! Two glasses of Passerina and Ribolla Gialla wine, and we had a wonderful, carefree lunch, just like at home. Next time we'll try the Roman dishes and the meat that the waiter (a nice and smart guy) highly recommended. I may have spent a little more than average because I was crazy about the grilled mushrooms and the Ribolla went down well. Bye.
