Risotto and tagliatelle with freshly picked porcini mushrooms that as soon as you eat them excite you with the smells and flavors of Calabria. A platter of cured meats and cheeses for two is super rich, ditto for taste and freshness. Add to that the restaurant boasts 50 years of experience in catering to true and authentic Calabrian cuisine. "I don't know who's writing this much." MANCULICANI GENTLEMEN, I LOOKED AT MY STOMACH. Very friendly staff lady. Prices were good and enjoyed the typical food from this area. Would pass by again! Wouldn’t recommend the tiramisu as this wasn’t homemade. I’d suggest to go for another dish.

A historic restaurant in the Gioia Tauro plain, it began as a rest stop for truck drivers. Today, it offers traditional dishes, showcasing local products with a creative touch. I tried the stockfish cooked in every way, truly delicious. The meat is also excellent, not to mention the pasta dishes, which are plentiful and tasty. The staff is attentive and courteous, the wait time is average, and the prices are excellent. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to rediscover the flavors of yesteryear.

A well-maintained bar and restaurant, just steps from the highway. I ate very well (I recommend their homemade pasta). The word "stocco" (cod) is often used. Reasonable prices. There's plenty of parking. Both indoor (upstairs) and outdoor (downstairs) dining areas. The lady at the cash register was very friendly. The wait was a bit long (maybe just bad luck).

05/10/2025: As vegetarians, we enjoyed a rich appetizer of cheeses and vegetables, a pasta dish with eggplant and mushrooms, and the pepper-filled lestopitta. But the real added value was the incredibly friendly, warm, and hospitable waiter, who told my husband he looked like Luca Argentero—the same thing I told him when I first met him!

Ristorante Pizzeria Villeggiante da Ciccino

30/09/2025: I've found service like this in few places: the owners and staff were always friendly, helpful, and attentive to all requests, creating an almost intimate atmosphere. The menu is very varied, so it's almost impossible not to find something you like. I really enjoyed what I tried (the appetizer and the Ciccino grill). At the end of the meal, we were offered coffee and amaro, a rare treat these days; they offer various amaros, including Kordax, which they make themselves. The restaurant is located in a unique spot, making parking nearby difficult, but nothing out of the ordinary. I found some prices a bit high considering the offerings, but given what I've said before, I recommend the experience.
27/09/2025: The food was truly exquisite and the portions were generous. Everything was delicious, except for the stuffed peppers, which had a slightly unusual flavor. The staff was attentive and professional. The place was clean, and we didn't have to wait long to order. We'll definitely be back.
