Two of us went to this restaurant and overall the experience was very positive. The food is really excellent, well cooked and with quality ingredients. The place was quite crowded, so there was a lot of confusion but all in all the environment was pleasant. The parking is very convenient, located a few steps from the restaurant. The only negative note: the dishes arrived at different times, so one finished eating while the other was still waiting. Overall, however, a place that I would recommend for the quality of the cuisine.

I was in this restaurant for two evenings, the atmosphere and staff were very welcoming and always available. The food is really good and the prices are fair. I'm sure I'll be back.

Very very nice place, young and very helpful waiters. The dishes are spectacular from the appetizers with an edge, moving on to the first courses which are unique and delicious and not least the second courses with a steak which is poetry as soft as butter and juicy as few others and the homemade desserts which send the taste buds into ecstasy I highly recommend this restaurant the top in the area the owner is a truly delightful person very professional and very kind

Posto accogliente e pieno di gente nonostante fosse un giovedi. Abbiamo preso un tagliolino al tartufo ottimo. Fiorentina cotta nel forno a legna buona anche se un po fredda dentro. Dolci buoni .ho visto delle ottime pizze e quindi tornerò per assaggiarle. Servizio veloce e gemtile

Cena con amici , non ero mai stato in questo ristorante, scelto da un amico per la bontà della pizza, dopo aver visto i tagli disponibili vicino al forno , io ed altri, abbiamo mangiato la bistecca. Tutto ottimo. Personale gentile e servizio veloce anche se il locale era pieno. Complimenti.

17/05/2025: I had dinner at Vecchio Olivo and the experience was overall very positive. The hand-cut ham was really excellent, tasty and quality, as were the pico al ragù, well seasoned and tasty. The location is really suggestive, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was also good: courteous and present without being intrusive. The only note is that, being a place with a homely soul and considering the prices, I would have expected something more, perhaps in terms of quantity or originality in the dishes. In any case, a beautiful experience that is definitely worth a visit.

Rusticanella 2 " da Luca"

13/05/2025: I was in this place in April 2025. I was passing through Lucca and wanted to eat a bit of “Tuscany”: given the many reviews I thought “it will be a commercial place”. Not at all!! Luca was able to carry on the Tuscan tradition with top quality products prepared in a truly authentic way! Small place, which in my opinion is an added value: you can chat if the person at the next table is well-disposed. Welcoming. The staff is truly smiling, helpful, kind! The dishes I had that evening really taste authentic: the raw Tuscan sausage with crispy bruschetta, the Tuscan tripe and the cantucci with vin santo really taste of the love they put into preparing it! Congratulations to Luca and all the staff: you deserve all the many reviews! I would absolutely recommend it!!
