Ristorante La Pietra Carrata Alias Lumapuzz Di Caldoso In Lettomanoppello

We were here last time at Easter, after a few dinners in the past. We had noticed this place going up towards Passolanciano: the vintage objects on display and the prevalent Majella stone had aesthetically struck us. Beautiful location with many details: swimming pool, the gardens, the bucolic and welcome presence of some animals in the surroundings and the accommodations. Ample space, tranquility, kindness: family management and fast and precise service, abundant quantities and really good prices, from exquisite appetizers, to first courses up to the excellent liver arrosticini. We were here for the first time on Easter Monday and had a great time to say the least! Taste of home, generous portions and a very honest fixed menu for the occasion. Furthermore, they were able to manage lactose-free menus with top marks! Happily amazed! The girls who served were super kind and helpful!

Beautiful location, completely unexpected from the outside. I had promised myself for a long time that I would try it, given that, as I passed by, I was always intrigued by the presence of numerous cars and people... and today was the right opportunity. The restaurant is made up of two very particular and carefully furnished rooms. The only flaw is the bathroom, which is not at the level of the internal rooms. Very good food and average prices. We tasted the first courses, gnocchi and ravioli seasoned with sauce or with "forest aromas" but we will certainly return to taste the second courses and appetizers too. This is the reason why I don't give 5 stars, because I didn't have the opportunity to taste the various courses.

I have had lunch and dinner here other times, this is definitely the last one, the only positive note was the staff, friendly but the food, gnocchi with forest flavors were not very tasty there was only a lot of oil, the meat was tough and not presentable, the environment was cold (in the other room they told me yes he was better... but it was up to the staff to balance the temperatures). Negative experience that I don't want to repeat again.

Beautiful and particular location, kind and helpful service and unique and delicious food... I will return in the summer to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool and outdoor space 👍🤩🤩
