Open at the beginning of January. That's a good thing. Tasty food, good wines at normal prices. Recommended!

Restaurant found by chance, it turned out to be a magnificent surprise. Warm welcome, entry aperitif offered by the house, simple, rich but above all genuine and fresh appetizer. Well-executed and abundant first courses, second course of amberjack au gratin in the oven with julienne of crunchy vegetables, mussels with chilli pepper, finally coffee and a pleasant taste of artisanal house liqueurs.

Siamo stati a cena in questo bellissimo ristorante sul lungomare di Scilla . I proprietari gentilissimi ci hanno accolto e servito una cena a base di pesce fresco ottima : Antipasti (panini giallo curcuma e crema di salmone,panini alla barbabietola ,seppie catalane,panini neri con yogurt,cipolla ,polipo,salmone ,spada affumicato,ricciola affumicata,seppie con paté di pomodorini secchi,baccalà pastellato,cremino di gamberi,frittelle neonate,polpette e tortino di pesce spada) Il primo piatto squisito era composto da tagliolini con pistacchio fresco e gambero rosso . Per concludere questa cena favolosa ci è stato servito un tortino con cioccolata calda. In questo ristorante si mangia pesce fresco cucinato in modo superlativo e al prezzo giusto . The fish prepared by them was very tasty, as well as the anti pasto perla nero.

We ate a good traditional bolognese which is called ragu on the menu (I don't think they are the same). The frutti di mare was great as well! We topped of with some fried fish, shrimps and octopus which were also good. The waiter was very slow with letting us pay, but overall good service otherwise.

A place on the seafront in Scilla which, despite having outdoor tables, has not given up that sense of elegance that always pleases. The food is good, refined and served in particular courses. excellent starters, albacore main course I expected better having already tried it, first courses to be improved (I had the first course with amberjack) to blend the taste (fish and pasta are inconsistent and sometimes cooked too al dente). All in all honest given the average prices around and in a tourist place like this.
