We returned to La Perla after Mass at San Gabriele. We booked for 12:30 and the table was ready right away. I love duck, and here we start right away with the pappardelle with sauce and then the duck for the main course. We also ordered some mixed grill. No appetizers, which weren't even offered to us. The place has its flaws, whether it's hot or cold; sometimes the high humidity and steam get the floor wet and you risk slipping. Still, it's a safe bet.

Very welcoming place, excellent service, delicious pappardelle and duck with tomato sauce, as well as the mixed roast, cake, and good coffee. The owner is very polite, the waitress was good and very quick to respond to every request. Very reasonably priced. Everything was excellent.

The food was delicious and high-quality. Even though we didn't have a reservation, and despite the restaurant being packed, they found us a table quickly and served us without long waits. Recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fantastic experience!!!
We arrived without a reservation! The owner, Aldo, went out of his way to find us a table for five. We had a fantastic meal... The pappardelle alla papera was sublime, and the duck in tomato sauce was never so good! The side dish, olives from Ascoli Piceno, and fried cream was a real highlight!!! It's the best Abruzzo restaurant we've ever tried, and we've been traveling around Abruzzo for over 20 years. Special mention goes to the waitress, Arianna... She's very attentive and always available!!! We'll be back soon!!!
