It's worth getting here just for the sake of a cold beer)) the road is partly by car, partly through the forest with a steep slope. It's a 10-minute walk, easy.

The food was absolutely amazing, but the view over lake como was even better!!! This place is definitely a pearl in the mandello area.

Enchanting place with a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. I had a decent lunch: good cold cuts, cheeses and croutons and polenta with venison stew a little too dry. Service a little lacking but courteous probably due to the unexpected tourist influx. In any case, I recommend it because the place is wonderful and the commitment of the staff is there.

Breathtaking view of the lake. Few dishes but tasty, just right to relax with a beer, a nice cutting board, grill or a simple sandwich. If full there is the possibility of eating at tables located in the area al fresco. Beautiful experience remembering that it is a refreshment not a 5 star restaurant.

We come here often, the view is simply magnificent!!! Now the owners have changed and the opening hours have been reduced. The grounds are obviously no longer managed or looked after, WHAT A PITY! But the terrace too, it hadn't been swept, the umbrellas were broken and neglected. The lady was very nice and speaks good English. The positive thing is that they only use proper crockery now, goodbye paper cups and co ;-) Long waits for drinks and food at all the tables even though it wasn't that busy. We didn't get a second beer because the gas bottle on the tap was empty, there was no replacement bottle and no alternative in bottle form either... on a Sunday afternoon at 1.30pm in beautiful weather?????? We really hope that the team will get used to it and that these are just teething problems.

Informal environment with great view, the management has changed compared to before where we ate grilled meat. Personally I preferred it before.

An enchanting place, with a breathtaking view of the lake. You have to walk a bit to get there but it's worth it. Good and typical food, very kind staff. If there are no free tables, you can take orders and eat them at the wooden tables, scattered on the lawn a few dozen meters from the restaurant. Tidy bathroom. Magical atmosphere, to completely disconnect.

Magic spot we accidentally ran into while hiking nearby.Had planned on a quick drink until we see the place and met the staff! Fantastic place and lovely people. And the biggest treat…..fantastic food!!!! prices are very reasonable and you have best view in Italy!!!One of the most beautiful atmospheres we’ve been part of, and we’ve travelled the world a number of years!!🙏🤩

Sabato 15 Febbraio 2025, in una magnifica giornata di sole, ho portato il mio gruppo di Camminatori a pranzare al Ristoro La Perla del Cenghen. Il calore, l'ospitalità, la gentilezza e l'allegria di Francesco ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa. Pizzoccheri, stinco, affettati & formaggi e dolce finale, tutto di ottima qualità, con ottimi prezzi. E il momento di relax sulla terrazza vista lago, un vero incanto. Grazie! Torneremo sicuramente!
