On Saturday evening, a 15-minute walk away, Sonia welcomed us and explained the menu: platter, pizzoccheri, and a trio of polenta with mushrooms, gorgonzola, and venison... we really enjoyed it, the homemade cakes were the best, we'll definitely be back for lunch because the view and the food are truly worth it.

After our hike, we took a spontaneous detour to this place and were so glad we did! The service, ambience, and food were incredible. We tried Pizzoccheri for the first time, and it was delicious. The view was amazing as well.

We come here often; the view is simply magnificent! Sonia and Gani are very welcoming and the food is super delicious! The ham hocks are perfect. We're already looking forward to the next time :-)

A restaurant in a panoramic location along the walk to the beautiful Cenghen waterfalls.
We had a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses, pizzoccheri, and polenta...all delicious. The service and value for money were also excellent! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I'm rewriting this review after three years because, unfortunately, a lot has changed. The breathtaking lake view is still there. And, alas, the food has changed. From the simple but tasty and spectacular grilled dishes, only sandwiches and cold cuts remain. I wonder. If something works soooo well, why change it?

We stopped by spontaneously while hiking and had the polenta with Gorgonzola, which was absolutely delicious! The waitress and owner were very friendly and made us feel immediately welcome. The view of Lake Como is beautiful and made the visit a special experience. We'd love to come back! 😊

Found by chance on the way back from the Cenghen waterfalls... A splendid place with a view that can't be described, but must be experienced... Impeccable, discreet, kind, and engaging service. The dishes, all traditional local dishes, are exquisite and worth trying. We'll definitely be back just for lunch...
