When you enter La Pergola in Bedonia, you enter a world of serenity and style, somewhere between the English, consolidated in a refined and elegant setting, and the tangible Apennine mountain atmosphere, made of ancient recipes reworked with delicate and captivating innovations. All this is coordinated by a wonderful Signora Betta who welcomes, accompanies, and interprets the wishes and expectations of each fortunate guest. The attentive and courteous service leaves no room for error, always discreet and never intrusive, but punctual. My wife and I sampled the truffle menu, ranging from a superb chestnut soufflé with truffle, to ravioli with saffron and truffle, and purple rice with gorgonzola and truffle. When we reached the main course, slices of succulent roast beef accompanied by a delicate sauce with shaved truffle and a delicate potato rosticciata served as a prelude to a delightful and refreshing coffee mousse, meringues, and the aroma of truffle. The raw materials are of undeniable quality, the bill is honest, and it further demonstrates that working in the restaurant business requires love and expertise, as we experienced at La Pergola. A very elegant restaurant with refined dishes prepared with love and high professionalism. It's spotlessly clean and offers impeccable service. The very kind owners make guests feel right at home. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I took my father for lunch here, and we were both delighted with the delicious dishes, from appetizers to desserts, and the beautifully appointed, stunning setting! It's very convenient because it's right in the historic center of Bedonia. I really hope to return! Highly recommended for everyone, whether for lunch or dinner, for couples, groups of friends, families, or special occasions! A historic venue, as it was once an inn dating back to 1794! Traditions have been passed down through three generations, renovated over time with all the flavor of antiquity!

A restaurant serving traditional Valtara cuisine. The location is beautiful, especially the interior, but the garden, where we ate, is also welcoming. The photos with VIPs are a bit excessive. The cuisine is honest, with a few creative touches, but occasionally stumbles on technique. The cured meats and desserts are very good. The wine list is very classic. The service needs updating; it's friendly, but a bit intrusive and sometimes inattentive. The bill was reasonable. It's a historic venue with good potential, but there are some aspects that, if reworked, could make it truly unique.
