We found this place not so far from the Colosseum and it seemed to be quite popular. We didn't have to wait long to get a table and were greeted by the several staff members who were all so friendly. They told us about the food and later came to chat with us. I had a ravioli with tomato sauce which was excellent.

Il locale è davvero molto molto turistico, com’è forse ovvio in questa zona, ma mi aspettavo molto di più sinceramente. La carbonara era immersa nella carbocrema, decisamente troppo per i miei gusti, risultando molto pesante. Si percepiva anche una certa fretta, vista la lunga fila...

04/04/2024: Came here based on a friend’s recommendation and so happy that we did! The host was charming and hospitable, the food was amazing and service was great.
28/03/2024: What an unexpected surprise. Seriously please don’t walk by this charming family owned restaurant. The place is full of history, where the famous have dined. But other that it’s really a Roman treasure. The food was delicious and the atmosphere just quaint and special. I had the veal and it was so tender like it should be. The ciao de Pepe was so so tasty. The family whom owns it is at the next table sending us limoncello. LOVE this restaurant. We have had several meals over several vacations in Rome and have to rate this in the top three.
