We've eaten here several times a year for the past 10 years and have never been disappointed—quite the opposite. So, we confidently took our Dutch friends, who were visiting for a week, to this restaurant with a Sicilian touch. A must-try for antipasti: La selezione dello Chef. It was another hit, and our friends thoroughly enjoyed it. We especially enjoyed the wines recommended by our boss, Carlo. A fantastic evening! Compliments to Carlo and his staff! The price I quoted includes delicious wines.

Picturesque location, decent food, presented as Sicilian cuisine: a somewhat eccentric idea that clashes with the typical Tuscan setting. Reinvention of pasta alla norma with Sardinian gnocchetti!!! The reason for this was the supplier's failure to deliver suitable pasta (Sic).

Years ago, we had a wonderful meal here in the garden. It was a fond memory, so we quickly returned. Definitely no regrets. A lovely, spacious table in front of the kitchen. The restaurant was pleasantly packed with lots of Italians. We're going for the 9-course menu again. Everything was delicious: tomato granita with mozzarella, bacalha on toast, etc. A good wine list. Very friendly staff. Fantastic! I would definitely go back.

A great alternative to traditional Lucchese cuisine in Lucca's historic center, where you can savor and enjoy typical Sicilian flavors. You can choose between a tasting menu and à la carte dishes. For a perfect mix, I recommend the tasting menu for your first visit. For €30 (excluding drinks), you can try a selection of delicious appetizers, a selection of first and second courses, and dessert included.

La Norma in Lucca is a proper Italian delight, positively buzzing with charm. The tasting menu was an absolute triumph—every dish bursting with fresh, authentic Sicilian flavours that made each bite utterly bellissimo. Truly, everything was delicious, no question. The young waiters and waitresses, sweet as they were, seemed like trainees, which slowed service a smidge—our meal stretched to a leisurely two hours, leaving us so gloriously stuffed we couldn’t even contemplate dessert. Still, the food’s sheer brilliance earns it a smashing five stars. I’d saunter back for more in a heartbeat.
