Dinner on March 15, 2026, a small, elegant restaurant with approximately 10 seats inside. The restaurant staff consisted of a chef and a server, and the service was impeccable! Very friendly, excellent wine recommendations, a small menu with a few extras. The food was sensational! Reservations are absolutely necessary.

La Mingla is a beautiful small restaurant with a confident kitchen. You immediately feel that the chef knows exactly what he is doing. Each dish is precise, balanced and thoughtful, with great respect for the ingredients. From the delicate fish to the perfectly composed pasta and dessert, everything felt harmonious. The wine selection is excellent and complements the food perfectly. A truly memorable dinner and a real gastronomic pleasure

We truly enjoyed our dinner. The dishes had very interesting and unusual flavor combinations, the presentation was beautiful, and everything was absolutely delicious. A special mention to the impeccable and attentive service. Bravo to the chef!! The dish to die for. We will definitely come back again. The place is small, so book ahead.

The best food experience in this area so far. Pasta with raw shrimp made me euphoric. Place was full- make sure to book! This place is loved by guests and staff ♥️

As for the gems: this small restaurant in Gargnano is nestled in a narrow alleyway near the town center, close to the lakefront and the charming little harbor. Wow! Dinner was a truly enjoyable experience. A few dishes, made with quality ingredients and excellent workmanship, expertly prepared by the chef. A good selection of wines, including by the glass. The service was welcoming, friendly, yet always professional. Well done!

We came here today for a tasting. The food was fantastic. For a starter, we had a beef tartare that was perfectly sliced. The Garda trout tartare was also well-prepared. For the main course, we had gnocchi and a tomato salad with anchovies in a melon emulsion. Everything was superb. The red wine we chose was a perfect match: a Rosso di Montalcini from Baricci. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money.

If you are visiting Gargnano, you must simply try this place. Perfect food, wine and service. Everything is made with care. You'll struggle to get better in Italy.

Osteria La Miniera

21/12/2025: The food is truly excellent. It's a shame about the long wait, but it's still worth it. You definitely shouldn't rush it and just enjoy it.
20/12/2025: Traveling to Salò and looking for a place to eat, I stumbled upon the village of Gardola and specifically Osteria La Miniera. A pleasant discovery, and the view from above over Lake Garda with its snow-capped peaks makes it all very surreal. We'll return to the Osteria to write a review; in fact, we were pleased, first and foremost, with the dishes and the atmosphere that enveloped us. We had an appetizer, a first course, a mix of grilled meats, wine (1/4), and coffee, and were treated to a homemade limoncino. 20/01/2026: A wonderful surprise in an enchanting location in the Lower Brescia area! The cuisine is a true experience, and the staff is absolutely top-notch! We'll be back.
17/01/2026: After a few years, we returned to Saur for dinner. The cuisine and dishes raised the bar even further, revealing a truly remarkable exploration of pairings and flavors. The seven-course menu for €70 features noteworthy appetizers, each dish capturing all the flavors: acidic, bitter, savory, and smoky. Each dish is complex and complete, without resorting to the banality of "rich" ingredients, but rather focusing on fermentation, pairings, research, and a wealth of technique. The chef's visit to the tables at the end of the meal and during the meal to bring out a few dishes was delightful. My only criticism was that the wait time was a bit long, about 20-25 minutes between each course. An excellent experience, we can't wait to return!
