Ristorante La Ferriera In Loro ciuffenna

We loved our stay at Residence Ferriera! We booked through Airbnb, where a company takes care of the bookings - however, we were a little disappointed by the lack of a charger for electric cars, which was written in the ad, but we found a solution. We were welcomed by the friendly owner who showed us around when we arrived late in the evening. The house is down a long path, which makes it very private, and in the middle of the grounds there is a waterfall where you can swim, which runs through the grounds with a bridge over it. Down the path there is a market day on Mondays with fruit/vegetables/clothes, as well as small local shops, bars and a pizza restaurant. We stayed in an apartment with 2 rooms, a family room and a bathroom, which was all lovely spacious and semi-private. In the rooms, there was a fan in the ceiling, which was fine on the hot days, but it got a little warm in the kitchen in the evening, so windows/doors had to be opened, and here I recommend mosquito spray/mosquito candles. It's a charming house on the older side, but I think that's definitely part of the charm. Up the stairs there is a large pool with a view beyond Loro Ciefuenna, and there are plenty of sunbeds - you have to be careful though. on the many horseflies that come during the day. Can definitely recommend Residence La Ferriera👏🏼
