The place is nice, the interior is a little small for the number of customers and tourists it receives, but it is super well looked after, and the staff in the dining room are certainly able to offer an effective service, with the right touch of humanity, but also quick and orderly. Whenever you plan to go I recommend booking, as it is very sought after. The kitchen is fantastic, not only for the fact that it is open to view (in fact you can delight in watching the pastry chef prepare the various desserts and the chefs at the grill), but also because it is quick to meet deadlines. The products are of excellent quality, from the pasta, to the side dishes and finally to the meat. As good as the pasta really is, nothing can compete with their meat, certainly one of the best I've ever eaten. The restaurant itself also offers the possibility of buying typical products (such as cantucci) or their prized meats. The price can be a bit of a sore point, but you can't argue with receiving products of such high quality (and it's certainly not as crazy as some gourmet places).

We arrived at 3:20 p.m., 10 minutes before closing, and were very well received by a dynamic, smiling and efficient team. Local cuisine, homemade pasta, very good grilled sausages. Good-natured atmosphere. You can buy local cold meats and cheeses, as well as homemade biscuits. A very good address despite a noisy room when busy.

Convivial tables, rustic trattoria but where the taste and pleasure of eating are at home. Tagliolini with truffled carbonara, mixed grill, Mugello ravioli and pappardelle with wild boar are delicious. And the queen of meat, Fiorentina.... Well.. just to try. If you want to eat Chianina properly then you can't miss coming to La Cavallina. Attached to the Barberino del Mugello motorway toll booth you will find this place which is normally always full but with fast service. The cuts they cook there are shown first and needless to say the absolute goodness of the meat. The potatoes are also very good. Minus the sweets which perhaps you can also avoid

Tavoli ravvicinati, tanta convivialità. Servizio veloce e preciso. La bistecca di chianina, 1.5 kg di bontà purissima servita su un piccolo braciere da tavolo per mantenere la temperatura con contorno di patate al forno: senza commenti!!! Coperto 2.50euro comprende un cestino di pane buonissimo con la schiacciata fiorentina. Caffè e cantuccini appena sfornati offerti. Prezzo onestissimo. Da consigliare assolutamente

Non puoi non fermarti se passi in questa zona. Si trova all uscita dall autostrada ed molto comodo, ogni volta che passo per viaggio mi fermo sempre con piacere. Il personale molto professionale a consigliare i vari tagli e condimenti giusto.
