Excellent place, so welcoming it makes you feel right at home. Excellent menu options, high-quality food at super reasonable prices, and quick service. Nothing to add other than the excellent lunch experience, as pictured, with grilled fillet steak, cooked rare, and excellent baked potatoes. I was very satisfied, I absolutely recommend it!

I've been there several times while passing through for work. The dishes are traditional and always delicious. It's always crowded, but the quality/price ratio is excellent. Very conveniently located near the Barberino highway exit.

A historic and famous place, a typical trattoria with fast, friendly, and organized service, even when the place is packed. Superb food! A must-see if you're passing through.

We went on a weekday evening, and the place was very crowded...mostly workers on the A1 motorway, being right at the Barberino exit. We had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. We had an excellent Chianina Florentine steak, but there's a wide variety of meats to choose from. The carafe of red wine was good...which is not a given. The side dishes, and the vin santo with freshly baked biscotti were fantastic!!
The decor is a bit dated...but we went for the Florentine steak.
The price was fair.

Ci siamo fermati per tappa pranzo nel lungo viaggio Nord-Sud. Proprio all'uscita autostradale. Un'ottima alternativa all'autogrill. Spendi un po' di più, ma guadagni in qualità, atmosfera e servizio: chianina e altre carni alla brace buonissime, contorni di verdura della tradizione locale e cantucci fatti dal pasticcere sotto i vostri occhi. Il servizio è efficiente e molto amichevole.

Un ristorante che sembra per viandanti di passaggio ma in realtà nasconde una vena commerciale importante.
Tanta fila che si esaurisce in 20 minuti o meno .
Carne molto buona (preso la chianina), ma il consiglio è : non vi fate suggestionare troppo dai camerieri (sempre comunque gentili e cordiali) e scegliete voi.
Conto: la carne buona di paga!
