Excellent grilled meat restaurant The Florentine steak is excellent, it's really worth it and if you have room left, the cantucci are fantastic

We went to Ristorante Cavallina and had an overall positive experience. Parking is convenient and the location is strategic, being just a stone's throw from the highway. The appetizers were just the right amount and very good, while the meat was excellent, although the price was a bit high. We appreciated the kitchen's willingness to adapt to our special requests for personal needs. The bathrooms were quite clean, which was a plus, however, we noticed some aspects that could be improved: the premises are very narrow and the service at the bar was a bit chaotic, with long lines for coffee since it could only be consumed at the counter. Also, it is not possible to have separate bills. Despite these small inconveniences, we recommend Ristorante Cavallina for the quality of the food and the convenient location. We hope they can improve some aspects of the service to make the experience even more pleasant.

Good organization and quite quick to call us from outside because there were a lot of people outside waiting. Very busy place. Delicious food and everything good from the starters to the meats. Average high bill but it depends on how much you get carried away tasting things. I had a great lunch

During a stop in Barberino del Mugello we had the pleasure of dining in a truly remarkable typical restaurant, specializing in grilled meat. We ordered a tagliata and a Florentine steak of extraordinary quality, both cooked to perfection and with an authentic flavor. A detail that struck us is the way in which the meat is chosen: at the entrance there is a large open counter with a vast selection of cuts and qualities, all well displayed with the relative prices. Once the meat has been chosen, it is weighed in front of the customer and brought to the table with an attached receipt before proceeding to cooking. A transparent and engaging experience that enhances the meal even more. The environment is rustic, welcoming and very popular, a sign of the appreciation of the customers. A curiosity that makes the place even more characteristic is the presence of an enormous stuffed moose with imposing antlers, impossible not to notice it. The quality-price ratio is truly convenient, especially considering the quality of the meat and the particularity of the service. Ultimately, an experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves good meat and the convivial atmosphere of authentic Tuscany.

great service, super welcoming and friendly staff, excellent steak, yes it melted in your mouth. It was very busy but we found a table easily, highly recommended if you pass by barberino.

Parto col dire che per quanto riguarda la cucina mi sono trovato bene (come al solito), questa volta ho optato per il menu' fisso, pappardelle al sugo di lepre, braciola di maiale e patate arrosto, 1/4 di vino rosso € 20. Punti dolenti la vicinanza tra tavoli, l'impossibilità di servirsi da soli il formaggio grattuggiato (e non hanno il pecorino) ma sopratutto la maleducazione, l'insofferenza, l'indisponibilità della cameriera addetta al tavolo 25 (l'unica, il resto del personale molto sembrava molto empatico con la clintela). Ottimi i cantucci col vin santo.

Torno dopo diversi anni alla Cavallina. Un pó di fila per locale pieno. Poi ottimo servzio e carne ottima. Prezzo giusto. Ampio parcheggio. Consigliato
