The restaurant is located in the center of Castel di Sangro, a simple place with a classic menu based on meat and pasta. The service is excellent and the owner is always very attentive and active between the tables. Good food, cooked according to local tradition.

Returning from Pescara with my wife headed to Benevento we stopped in Castel Di Sangro to eat a little something. After several trips in the car we decided to stop at the La Castellana restaurant and we immediately found ourselves at ease in the small but welcoming, family-run environment. We had lunch only with a generous starter, excellent divided in two and for the second course, excellent white fettuccine with mushrooms, truffles and other things. My wife chose ravioli with sage, ricotta and other delicious things. Very kind waiter, son of the cook who is also the owner. Drinks 1/4 of red wine and a bottle of water and coffee. Dessert: a delicious family-made tiramisu. Price €23 per person Highly recommended

I went to this small family-run restaurant for the first time in the company of some friends. They made us sit outside and we ordered appetizers, mixed bruschetta (really good), a first course and several second courses. Everything excellent. Average prices. Friendly and welcoming staff.
