After years, we returned to this restaurant for a friend's birthday. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the wait staff was friendly and helpful. We chose: mixed cured meats with giardiniera (pickled vegetables), fried gnocco, and bortellina (both classic and with onions). Among the first courses, the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, anolini in broth, and Piacenza tortelli with butter and sage were excellent. For main courses, we ordered horse meat picüla (picula) and horse meat tartare. The desserts were truly exquisite. It was a pleasure to return and savor the delicious dishes of Piacenza cuisine.

Business dinner on the way back from Milan, just minutes from the PC toll booth. We ordered two appetizers, two first courses, a second course with side, and a dessert. Water and four glasses of red wine were included. Fast service, quiet atmosphere, and attentive staff. Authentic, excellent quality dishes. Good selection and reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our experience here. The food reflects the Piacenza region very well and everything we tried tasted great , we left very satisfied. The service was friendly and attentive, slightly above average, which made the whole experience even nicer.The atmosphere feels warm and authentic, with paintings on the walls related to Piacenza that match the style of the food perfectly. The location is a bit hidden, but honestly, it’s still absolutely worth visiting. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for good local food in Piacenza.

A magnificent place. It takes you back in time, savoring authentic traditional cuisine from Piacenza and Emilia. Delicious food, magnificent wine list. The staff is also incredibly professional and friendly. Highly recommended!

The menu focuses on Piacenza and Emilian cuisine: mixed cured meats, torta fritta/bortellina, pisarei e fasò, tortelli, agnolini, and other homemade pasta dishes. I'd especially commend the cured meats and pasta dishes (tortelli, chicche al gorgonzola, horsemeat dishes, tripe), and the desserts are also delicious.

Whenever we go to Piacenza, we've been meaning to eat at La Carrozza for a while now. We've tried other restaurants, but this is "our" place: we feel right at home. The quality-price ratio is good, the service is fast, the waitresses are very kind, and in addition to the main dining room, which is a bit noisy but acceptable, there are two other more intimate dining rooms. I recommend the Giovanna, a fantastic cured meat served with fried polenta, and also their homemade giardiniera, which you can also buy in a jar and take home. Last but not least, the nearby parking is very convenient: one paid and the other, a little further on, free.
