If you want to eat Piacenza food in the city of Piacenza, la Carrozza is the right place.
The environment is that of an old Piacenza tavern, but very colorful and welcoming... the wine bowls are beautiful as our tradition dictates.
We ate the cured meats with the fried pie, burtleina and giardiniera and it was all very good. The tagliolini with mushrooms, the small one, the potatoes and the tartare were also excellent.
The very kind waitresses are an added value to this historic Piacenza restaurant.
We didn't eat the desserts because the portions were large and we were full, but watching them go by they were very inviting.
So, if you want to eat Piacenza without going to the hills, the Carrozza is always a guarantee!!

A typical Piacenza tavern that if you are looking for a retro place with typical cuisine, few dishes but good and caloric then this is the place for you, typical, picturesque and good. When I come to Piacenza for work I always have to stop by. I recommend it for those looking for something typical in the center or near the station

For me, Ustaria la Carrozza was a place where I found myself by chance, invited. For various reasons it was a pleasantly unforgettable evening, for which the venue and the food were the perfect setting. I recommend it because there is a simple and at the same time never banal atmosphere. The wine absolutely... Superlative. I hope to see you very soon

As soon as I entered, I found the decoration very nice and cozy. Very friendly service and very delicious food. I was able to try real Piacentine food (that's what my Piacentine companions told me), and I found it delicious and with a homemade taste.

A truly unique place, welcoming and well looked after. We had tortelloni with mushrooms, trofie with radicchio, courgettes and culatello, chicche with gorgonzola, tagliatelle with potatoes and grilled vegetables. Water, glass of wine and 3 coffees for a total of €72.00. Excellent quality/price ratio. Very friendly staff and good service.
If I return to Piacenza, I will definitely stay here again.

Trattoria tipica piacentina con menù classico e prezzi medio bassi.
Anche la qualità delle portate non mi ha soddisfatto a pieno.
Discreto l'antipasto con 3 formaggi locali, salume non eccezionale, bortellina troppo bigiunta e gnocco fritto riscaldato.
Tortelli medi, chicche al gorgonzola molto buone.
Piccola e tartare di cavallo ok, così come la trippa.
Dolci rivedibili.
Personale di sala molto gentile, meno chi sta alla cassa.
Si può e si deve fare meglio per una trattoria storica di Piacenza.

Location bizzarra, accogliente, se non fosse per la temperatura un pochino fredda. Servizio misurato. Menù piacentino. Ottimo il gnocco fritto ed i tortelli. La Bortollina non mi è piaciuta. Così così anche i pisarei e fasoi non erano così golosi. Porzioni decise. Prezzi da usteria.
