This restaurant is run by a Japanese wife, Naoko, and her Italian husband. After climbing the steep stairs to the second floor, you'll find a restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The view from the window is also wonderful 👍 The food was also very good, and the tuna caught here was exquisite. We enjoyed the Italian food, but other customers ordered boat-shaped platters and sushi. The wife, who is the chef, is popular at the market, so you can be sure of the ingredients. The food was really delicious. It's a restaurant I'd like to visit again when I'm in Ortigia. Although it's not in the photo, the frites were crispy and delicious.

A place to really discover. Ancient, serene and silent atmosphere, from the window you can see a very suggestive glimpse of the sea. The owner is an exquisite person, honest, friendly and efficient, takes all the orders and serves the tables quickly. The food is really good, rich and varied menu, dishes for all tastes, decidedly modest prices especially if compared to the quality of the food and the location. Just think that a few meters away there is a string of tourist and chaotic places that with exorbitant prices do not come close to the quality of the galley. In addition, the place has the particularity of being Italian-Japanese. Absolutely to try and discover. We will definitely return.

My mother and daughter went on a trip to Sicily at the end of April. I visited La Cambusa, which was introduced on a Japanese person's blog, after making a reservation via email from their website. Apparently it starts at 7:30pm, which is around the time you can see the sunset at the end of April. Cheers with white wine while watching the sunset from a seat by the window! For the food, I ordered an assortment of appetizers and orange-flavored tagliatelle with octopus and basil! The appetizers are the best and are the best! The curly tagliatelle noodles mix well with the sauce and are delicious! Highly recommended! I wasn't planning on ordering it, but I found the seafood bowl in the second half of the menu. Since I am stationed in India, I haven't had a chance to eat seafood for over half a year, so with the consent of my mother who came from Japan (lol), I ordered it with miso soup. The highlight of this restaurant was this seafood bowl😭The warm vinegared rice had just the right sweetness of the mellow vinegar, and on top of that was freshly caught seafood such as sweet shrimp. The soy sauce, wasabi, and plates are all Japanese! It was so delicious, I said thank you so much over and over again. The caponata and almond ice cream were also delicious! Another nice point is that the amount of food on the plate is Japanese size. Even though I ate a lot, it was reasonably priced and I was really satisfied. If you are a Japanese tourist and are a little tired of Italian food, or if you want to eat delicious seafood bowl, please come and visit us. I felt that the owners and their husbands were both very kind people. I would love to go again.

28th April 2025 from Japan I was introduced by a friend of a friend, and I was greeted friendly. There are meals for both Japanese people (tempura and miso soup), and of course there are also local meals, and it's a seaside town, so the seafood was delicious. The atmosphere inside is stylish (it looks like an underground wine warehouse), so it's a recommended shop.

What can I say, a place in a seafront location in beautiful Ortigia, a beautiful location, you can taste well-made dishes, it's not mass-produced food, each dish has a flavor that is getting lost over time, we will definitely return.

The restaurant is practically invisible from the outside, as if only for local guests. There were only Italians inside. The restaurant inside is atmospheric, nice, classically Sicilian. The menu is mainly fish, but you will also find other dishes. Tasty. Beautiful views from the window. The service, probably the owner, speaks English and Italian.

El mejor pescado crudo de Siracusa. Los entrantes, la pasta y la red también eran buenos. El vino era excelente. Y el tranquilizador es hermoso. Muy buena relación calidad-precio.
