La Baita was a pleasant confirmation, the owner was extremely kind, and the staff was knowledgeable.
They immediately set up a table inside because it was a bit chilly in the evening... but let's talk about the food! Excellent!
The Aieta ham is always a guarantee of delicacy, the ricotta is top-notch, the pasta is all homemade, the tomato ravioli are delicate and delicious, as is the lagane (tagliolini) with local chickpeas... It's definitely worth the drive up to this village... a restaurant open all year round that "consoles" you with its food culture. P.S. Sorry for the photos... we dusted everything...

We had dinner at La Baita and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere is very familiar and welcoming, perfect for a pleasant and relaxed evening. The owner is delightful, kind, and helpful, and the entire staff made us feel pampered from start to finish.
The food was truly excellent: carefully prepared dishes with fresh, top-quality ingredients, evident in every bite. Authentic yet flavorful cuisine, reflecting a love of good food.
A place we happily recommend to anyone looking not only for good food, but also for human warmth and sincere hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

A few days ago, I had lunch at this splendid restaurant, immersed in nature and tranquility. The impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail are immediately evident. Giacomo's cuisine is superb and reflects the local culinary tradition. The ravioli and tagliolini with chickpeas are memorable: every bite is pure poetry. The appetizers are also exquisite and reflect the care and attention to detail in the quality of the ingredients. The rest of the menu is also worth trying; the courtesy and kindness of the staff is also noteworthy. I will definitely return.

We stumbled upon it by chance, for lunch, during our vacation wandering around Calabria. There was no cell phone service in Aieta, and everything in the old town was closed, so we relied on the good old street signs to find an open spot. The result was amazing: a place immersed in nature, cool and quiet, immediately welcoming thanks to the owners' smiles. The food was delicious, the flavored olive oil was a treat, and the pork shank was out of this world! Highly recommended :-)

We stumbled upon this restaurant in Aieta by chance and were pleasantly surprised on every level: from the simple yet flavorful food to the view from the terrace.
The attention to detail, such as the different types of oil (the bergamot one is especially special), and the attentive service make this restaurant a gem in the mountains of Aieta.
Thanks to all the staff, and a special thanks to Giacomo, the restaurant's chef and host, who conveys his passion for food through his dishes.
I highly recommend everyone to try his cuisine; of the many restaurants we've visited, I consider it one of the best in the area.
We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

We live in times when it's easy to lose our certainties, our culinary reference points, with the risk of experiencing ever-increasing disappointment, especially when we stumble upon restaurants that can express the flavors of tradition through the quality of the raw materials of a unique territory like that of extraordinary Calabria.
When I long to savor the typical cuisine of the vast upper Tyrrhenian-Cosenza area, my cardinal points, and the compass I have left, direct me solely to La Baita, in Aieta, a quality trattoria, a temple of authentic local cuisine. It's wonderful to be delighted by the creativity of Chef Giacomo, always capable of surprising his guests with flavors colored with strong emotions.
