All perfect food and spectacular location

Historic arbëreshë cuisine restaurant in the heart of the small and characteristic Civita, famous for the devil's bridge and the gorges below. You absolutely must try the roasted goat, but it is also very good grilled, we tasted it in both versions. Also not to be missed are the piretto (lime) jam and granita. The Kamastra starter is rich, the vegetables in oil are very good. If you love wine I recommend getting a bottle rather than bulk wine. Excellent value for money.

The restaurant is located in the historic centre, a short distance from the main square, with the possibility of a splendid walk as soon as you leave. The dishes are excellent, very typical of the area. The grilled meats are unsurpassed; the chicken and sausage are worth trying, as are the side dishes (the pan-fried potatoes are truly from a traditional home recipe, and are very tasty). The luck for us started with the appetizer, with some splendid fried vegetables! The internal environment is characteristic (see photo below), and is the setting for a family meal Returned after some time and the excellent impressions are absolutely confirmed. The vegetarian starter is excellent (the onions are excellent, the dried tomatoes at the highest levels, and the pancakes unsurpassed), as is the grilled meat (chicken and pork in particular)

I was with a group of 50 people and Mr. Enzo prepared us an excellent, spectacular menu, an amazing welcome, he also showed the group his artistic skills as a singer as well as a professional of good taste. An artist! All enriched by a cooking demonstration by the chef of one of Civita's symbolic dishes, Dromsa. Congratulations also to the kind and well-trained staff.

Il nostro punto di riferimento a Civita, piatti italo-albanesi-calabresi, ampia scelta ma tutto gustoso, dagli antipasti ai secondi. Ottimo il capretto in padella, tenero e gustoso, come le patate in padella e le verdure di stagione. Gentilissimo il Personale oltre che i Proprietari.
