La Kamastra embodies all this, a place where you can rediscover the traditional flavors and kindness of a time when values were embodied by people and good food.

The restaurant is in the center of the small village, easy and convenient to reach, and serves delicious traditional cuisine: the fritters with nduja are superb, and the two first courses (wild boar macaroni and filatelli with nduja) are delicious. The traditional dessert is truly unique.

I went to this restaurant with three other friends last August 14th. I understand the restaurant is owned by the same people as the B&B "Da Sisina," which is around the corner and which I highly recommend, having stayed there.
The restaurant is very welcoming, the bathroom is clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. Both the appetizers and the first courses were delicious, featuring all the traditional flavors we were looking for. We didn't order dessert (we were full!), but we did have fresh fruit (excellent).
Another plus: a small discount at the end of the meal, and the owner kindly offered us some amaro.
If I ever return to Civita, I'll know both where to eat and where to stay.

In the center of the small village of Civita, this place claims to be the only one offering typical and traditional dishes. The first course, with herbs and salted ricotta, was very good, but it arrived over an hour later than the appetizer. For the appetizer, despite the menu indicating fritters were included, we were charged extra for them, which I found unfair. Furthermore, the appetizer itself was nothing special; the pickled vegetables tasted like those at the supermarket. The piretto liqueur, on the house, was good.

A welcoming and traditional place, with a homely feel. The wild boar sauce is one of the best I've ever had, and the goat and wild boar stew are FABULOUS!
The staff are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend dining here.
If I could give it 6 stars, I'd happily do so, but unfortunately the maximum is 5!

A typical trattoria, very welcoming, with friendly and smiling staff.
The food is good, with local and genuine ingredients, although I expected more generous portions and lower prices.
(For two, a full meal cost €50 per person.)
The fritters were excellent, and the lamb was delicious.
