A superb evening spent in this restaurant a stone's throw from the Colosseum. A top waiter, very good at his job, with a few jokes from time to time and who tries to speak French and gets by very well. The cuisine is excellent and we had the pleasure of being able to try and enjoy Italian and Roman specialties. We highly recommend.

We were recommended by our hotel to visit Hostaria Isidoro for authentic Italian food, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Despite being in a tourist area, this restaurant offers a genuine Italian atmosphere. The food was excellent, especially the fried zucchini flowers and pasta amatriciana. The wine selection was fantastic, and the staff was amazing. Special thanks to Jonathan for his helpful recommendations.

Nice place near the Colosseum. We took courgette flowers with burrata and good anchovies (with the exception of the courgette cream). Subsequently I chose the seared tuna with lime and marjoram garnish (a dish that I really appreciated) while my girlfriend chose paccheri with prawns, cherry tomatoes and pistachio which she found very good. Pleasant staff and reasonable prices.

Had the carbonara and it was excellent and so was the local craft beer. A perfect option for Italian cuisine near the Colosseum.

Super nice local Trattoria/Hostetia I picked as it’s not right at a tourist spot but a spitting distance from the Colloseum, excellent service beyond friendly and accommodating, as there is no Spagetti Bolognese on menu and my teenager wanted nothing else and they provided 🙏👍🏼 Carbonara was fantastic and very good platter antipasti, all in all a very good experience.

Enjoyed this place about 4 blocks from the Colosseum. Had pasta with bacon and also sea bass with tiramisu. Great wine list! Attentive staff

Un restaurant charmant avec un service très très attentionné
Et surtout on y mange bien, tellement bien qu’on a déjà réservé notre table pour samedi, veille de notre départ.
Les pâtes aux truffes sont à tomber, le bœuf… du beurre !!!! Tendre à souhait et la salade aux encornets délicieuse
Le tiramisu est un must
Un régal pour les yeux et pour les papilles
Et non le service n’est pas long et tout le monde est juste charmant
