Ristorante Imperivm In Maida

I've eaten here several times in the last week with my family. The restaurant is nice and well-themed. The menu is comprehensive and varied. The staff was courteous. The food was overall good and well-presented. The service was quick (though there were few people). Neither I nor my family had any particular complaints, as reported in some comments. The price per person was in line with restaurants in shopping malls.

I had lunch during the week when the restaurant was almost empty. Excellent service, with very polite and friendly waitresses. Since it was lunch, I didn't eat much, but I was satisfied with the carbonara portion. I didn't give it 5 stars because it was too salty, but overall it was good. I also saw a menu with fairly reasonable prices, so I recommend it. A positive experience.

Imperium Restaurant (Maida) Location: Located inside the I Due Mari Shopping Center, this restaurant has a Roman Empire theme. I found it charming and quaint despite being in a shopping mall. Obviously, if they want to improve, they'll need to pay more attention to detail. Menu: Mainly based on Roman dishes, starting with the pasta dishes carbonara, amatriciana, Roman pinsa, etc., along with more commercial options like kebabs and hamburgers, which I'd honestly remove because they clash with the restaurant's mission. We tried Apicio (a terrine of meatballs in tomato sauce covered in pizza dough) and the Roman pinsa. Service: Friendly and professional. PRICE: Medium-low, and highly recommended for lunch in a shopping mall.

We ate really well: everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the main courses, to the sandwich. The service was also pleasant, especially the ordering lady, who was super kind and helpful, making the experience truly positive. If I may, as I work in the restaurant industry myself, I'd like to share a small constructive point: I noticed a young man in the dining room who was probably new, a little less confident than the others. Unfortunately, I sensed and observed an attitude from the rest of the staff that didn't seem very inclusive toward him. Personally, I strongly believe in the importance of teamwork: those with more experience should help those who are just starting out, to grow together and maintain a harmonious environment. It's precisely this spirit of collaboration that makes the difference in a team. I hope you take this feedback positively, because otherwise our experience was truly excellent. We'll definitely be back!

NEW: The manager welcomes you almost like a real dancer with her classical ballet moves. 🤩 Renovated setting, although the previous one was preferable with its soft lighting, sofas, and curtains. You felt more like Caesar or Nero. 🤩 In any case, if you love ancient Roman first courses like gricia or a fragrant cacio e pepe, well, then you're in the right place, where you can enjoy other specialties, including pizzas and pinsa alla Romana. 🤩 And then, surprise, we saw a "future princess"🤴 Arigato from Calabria Extraordinaire😘

Nice location, decent food considering I've eaten in Roman restaurants before, but some traditional dishes are missing. The only thing that really upset me, to say the least, was having to pay for my 18-month-old son, who didn't even eat, but I fed him 2 rigatoni. Maybe the high chair they gave me was made of gold and I didn't notice. That's never happened to me in any restaurant!
