Beautiful restaurant also part of the hotel, in Gattinara. At midday, workers' menu with excellent dishes I would say. Local and non-local wines by the glass, fine, perhaps a little expensive. Excellent desserts too

Bel ristorante con davvero ottimi piatti. Antipasti primi e secondi sono stati tutti apprezzati.
Su tutti, risotto ai funghi, anatra e fritto di pesce. Alcuni piatti forse un po' troppo abbondanti.
Buona la proposta di vini. Cameriere molto disponibili e gentili.
Unica pecca è stata la lunga attesa tra le portate; i piatti sono anche stati serviti a distanza di tempo uno dall'altro.
Comunque assolutamente consigliato.

Une excellente cuisine traditionnelle mais réalisée avec créativité et précision.
Je recommande le vitello tonnato, le risotto, le frito misto très léger !
Les portions sont très généreuses aussi faut-il y aller avec un solide appétit.

We stopped in passing for an aperitif, a place recommended by the host of the b&b where we are staying.
We had the feeling that we weren't really welcome, they made us feel bad about not having booked, but they still found us a table.
However, we were treated a little disdainfully.

passing through after a nice trek in the vineyards, we opted for a quick lunch since it was almost 2.00pm. Fassona tartare was good as a starter but the Gattinara risotto was truly superb! Closing with a very good sweet bonet and a taste of Bernard thyme liqueur with a superlative aroma!
