A wonderful discovery thanks to my partner, who brought me here for an anniversary. This restaurant is a hidden gem, with a stunning location and a splendid view, complemented by a program of cultural and musical events. Special mention goes to the young woman who served us, who was exquisite and genuine, and especially to the dishes, which reinterpret tradition with personality and are simply delightful. Everything was spectacular. The only downside? The distance: if we were closer, we'd be regulars.

Lajatico is the town of my heart, it's the town of my grandparents, and returning there is always a caress for the soul. This time, we took two Sicilian friends to show them the beauty of the place, and this place (which I admit I'd never been to) seemed like the perfect location because it objectively has a spectacular view and the place itself is well-kept, with a clear attention to detail. Unfortunately, perhaps we were the ones who made the mistake of only going for an aperitif and not for dinner, but we asked the girl if it was possible and she said yes, otherwise we would have left without a problem.... If I'd been alone with my partner, I wouldn't have ordered anything after seeing the aperitif menu, but we were with others, and what do you do, not order something? So we decided to split the tapas, €15 per person minimum for two, excluding the cocktail. Long story short: four spritzes filled with ice, the tapas for two that we shared between four, €60. Had we wanted a portion each for four people, we would have spent €90. For an aperitif. I'll skip the food; the presentation was nice, but there was nothing that made me feel worth it. A real shame.

We had lunch at Tenditoio today with a group of about 20 people, and the experience was truly delightful. They reserved a splendid room on the first floor for us, complete with a beautiful sun terrace, perfect for spending time together in privacy and total relaxation. The location is authentic, unique, and meticulously maintained, with an original atmosphere with a vintage/pin-up feel that makes the place truly unique. The tapas appetizer option was also very fun and popular: many different small dishes to share, ideal for creating a convivial atmosphere and allowing you to savor multiple specialties. Impeccable service: the entire staff was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive to our every request, making us feel welcomed from start to finish. The restaurant is located in the wonderful village of Lajatico, immersed in a truly evocative setting: the splendid Pisan valleys frame a relaxing and authentic landscape that makes the experience even more special. Highly recommended for both groups and lunches with friends, in a warm, original, and unique atmosphere. We will be happy to come back!

We went to dinner at this restaurant drawn by its fame, and in that regard, our expectations were fully met. The ambiance is splendid: a perfect mix of casual and sophisticated, with an artistic touch and a youthful atmosphere that makes it a truly pleasant place to spend an evening. ​Unfortunately, the same attention to detail wasn't fully reflected on the plate: ​The cheese platter: A somewhat sore point. I was served three types of cheese accompanied only by a few slices of rather "drab" fruit. A contrasting element (like honey or jam) that could enhance their characteristics was completely missing. The result? A heavy dish that, in the long run, was boring to finish. ​The Tapas: Definitely better, interesting and palatable options. ​The Riso al Salto disappointed me. I found it rather bland and uninteresting in terms of flavor; a dish that didn't leave a lasting impression. In short: Il Tenditoio is a beautiful place, ideal for an aperitif or to enjoy the aesthetics of the place, but in my opinion the kitchen should be more daring and pay more attention to the balance of the dishes. Currently, the balance between the originality of the setting and that of the menu is a bit unbalanced.

I went here for lunch on April 25th. The location was beautiful and incredibly welcoming, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to the needs of a group of 17. The menu was different from the usual and very fun. I highly recommend this place.

A charming terrace overlooking the Tuscan hills. The ambiance is designer, and everything is very colorful. The food is presented in a refined and original way. The quality is good. The prices are moderately high, but the service is worth it.
