Had dinner last night with a Walden Viaggi Solidali trekking group. The restaurant was, of course, CHOSEN BY OUR GUIDE. Everything was excellent, and the dinner was seafood-based: an excellent appetizer with superb cod, tagliolini with sweet prawns, and truly exquisite fried fish! The local wine that accompanied the dinner was excellent, recommended by the owner, a wine and olive oil sommelier. What more can I say? Unforgettable and highly recommended. Thank you! Emanuela

RUBINO is a corner of Gallipoli where I love to stop alone or with friends to enjoy exquisite seafood dishes. Fine cuisine and amazing wines. All topped off with Silvia's kindness and attention to detail. I highly recommend it to tourists like me and to locals 👍👏👏👏🌹

A truly excellent restaurant, where you can discover traditional Salento flavors paired with excellent wines, guided by welcoming and friendly staff. The octopus with potatoes was impeccable, as was the rest of the cuisine. The central location might mislead you into thinking it's a "tourist" restaurant, but that's definitely not the case. It's top-notch and definitely recommended! Well done!!!

A small location on the main avenue, traditional food presented in a refined way. We were swept away by Mrs. Silvia's suggestions, who presented us with a tasting menu of various dishes (12). Land and sea options, from raw to cooked, including various fried dishes of exquisite lightness and texture. All accompanied by local wines and paired with bread and sublime olive oil, even the dessert. A chocolate cake with a soft center, to which oil, inserted through a decorative pipette, could be added as desired depending on the desired flavor. The price was more than reasonable for the quantity, but above all for the quality of the food and the pairings offered.

We just finished a dinner with decent food, nothing exceptional. Despite a specific request for the fava bean and chicory purée and the mixed fried fish to be eaten together, the mixed fried fish arrived after I'd already finished the fava beans and chicory, and in any case before my partner's dish arrived. I mentioned it to the waiter, who apologized, but when it came time to pay the bill, the attention I would have appreciated wasn't there. We're on vacation here and won't be returning.
