As a regular visitor to Rocchi I returned to have dinner at the Pozzo. I confirm my opinion, best restaurant on the plateau. Serious cuisine, without truffle concoctions or false sophistication. They cook well, classic, good dishes, based on the raw materials, without cheating and cunning, a pleasant environment, compared to the competition I would say, elegant. This time Abruzzo-style lamb, stewed, splendid. Quality cheeses, cabbage and potato side dishes and sautéed chicory, really well done. They're good, period. Nice, elegant place carved into the rock on the top of Ovindoli but you can park nearby. Highly recommended also for average prices in a place well above average.

The place is very nice and typical of the mountains. Quality products and well-cooked dishes. Not to mention the gentleman in the dining room, friendly and very professional. Absolutely worth a visit

Very suggestive location, nestled in the mountain. Exquisite and very kind owner. Genuine and well cooked food. The cheeses and the onion and plum sauce are delicious, as are the wild boar pappardelle and the saffron and porcini mushroom pappardelle. Advise.

Dopo aver letto le svariate recensioni decido di far visita a questo ristorante. Locale molto carino niente da dire. Io e la mia compagna prendiamo un antipasto di montagna,2 primi,un secondo,un contorno,mezzo litro di vino rosso e acqua totale 68 euro.Elenco tutto: -pappardelle al cinghiale sono risultate salate e molto liquide,lontane dallo standard che siamo abituati a mangiare. -fettuccine ai porcini e zafferano imperdonabili per la presenza di panna/besciamella per dare cremosità ma qui siamo in abruzzo non in lombardia,la panna lasciatela al nord.bocciate. -agnello dorato ovvero impanato,buona la panatura ma del sapore di agnello nemmeno l’ombra -patate al forno nulla di eclatante Lascio per ultimo l’antipasto di montagna perché formato da salumi assolutamente di qualsiasi supermercato. Insomma esperienza normale che non lascia il segno alle papille gustative,lascia il segno al portafoglio perché 68 euro sono troppi per la scarsa qualità delle pietanze.

We booked in advance as the place has few tables. Excellent service: super welcoming restaurant owner. We took (among other things): Screppelle m'bosse (in broth, delicious), porcini mushroom soup, artichoke in crust, breaded ribs. 30 euros each including half a liter of wine.

leggendo recensioni, e dopo suggerimenti di altre attività, siamo giunti in questo piccolo ristorante familiare arroccato sul paese e scavato nella roccia. ad accoglierci, e soprattutto a coccolarci con il sorriso la cortesia e il garbo d’altri tempi, Davide. ci ha supportato nella scelta spiegando tecniche e materie prime per poi deliziarci con gusti originali della cucina e dei prodotti abruzzesi. ho apprezzato anche una squisita e tenerissima Entrecó con una maillard da veri professionisti della brace. davvero grazie a chi ci mette passione e dedizione in questo lavoro
