I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and can say it was a truly exceptional experience! The authenticity of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients were immediately evident. The staff was extremely kind and friendly, making us feel right at home. The vast selection of typical products allowed us to discover new flavors and authentic culinary traditions.

Fantastic restaurant! Food and service were excellent. The gnocchi and caprese salad were delightful. They are very accommodating with gluten free requests as well.

During our days in Benevento we had lunch and dinner here because the food is really good, quality raw materials, homemade pasta, exquisite desserts but above all welcoming staff who make you feel at home, thank you and see you soon

We received a very warm welcome here. The host explained the various specialties, and we thoroughly enjoyed sampling them. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

Siamo stati a pranzo in famiglia e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il personale è stato gentile e il servizio veloce. I piatti erano abbondanti e ben cucinati, soprattutto la pasta e i secondi di carne. C’era anche un menù per bambini. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo e ottimi dolci finali. Un posto che consigliamo e dove torneremo.

We booked by chance, today, passing through Benevento, a table for 4, because it was one of the restaurants with gluten-free dishes on the menu. We couldn't have made a better choice: we ate very well, the owner served us impeccably and with great kindness and the quality-price ratio was honest! Thank you so much!

Siamo di Roma, io e mio marito qui a Benevento per un weekend romantico in Campania, regione che amiamo. Siamo capitati al "Posto" per caso. Perfetto per chi vuole mangiare bene come una volta. Il locale ha una saletta appartata, molto discreta, arredata in modo semplice, con mobilio della tradizione, non un granello di polvere. Cibo cucinato con maestria (infatti lavorano da oltre 50 anni), ingredienti km 0, pomodorini fantastici davvero forniti da un contadino, primi di pasta fatti in casa (fettuccine ai carciofi top!) Ringraziamo per la cortese ospitalità e l'ottimo pranzo.

16/08/2025: I rarely leave reviews because my husband and I often travel unplanned, so we end up eating at the first place we come across, with almost always disappointing results. However, this little restaurant on the edge of the Taburno Park pleasantly surprised us! The location is exceptional, surrounded by simple, well-decorated greenery. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially considering we arrived unannounced and late at night. And the food...what can I say? You can taste the passion they put into it. Simple dishes are enhanced by the authenticity and freshness of the ingredients. I was amazed to find gnocco fritto (which I never thought I'd eat at these latitudes 😄) prepared to perfection, and everything else was excellent. The price, too, is truly fair. The mulberry liqueur they make is simply divine! We hope to return soon to spend at least a couple of days.

If you are looking for a place surrounded by greenery, surrounded by the flowing river that makes everything even more suggestive, you are in the right location. Piera knows how to delight her customers with her refined culinary proposals and above all at km0. Everything made by her, unusual and exquisite dishes, served by Armando, an exceptional host. He will tell you about his dishes in an impeccable way, pampering guests with his cordiality, giving a five-star welcome. Truly a rare pearl from all points of view. Try it and believe it
18/05/2025: What can I say! A perfect lunch. Everything delicious, guaranteed at km zero! Armando is a master in welcoming and making you savor the dishes even before tasting them. Piermando is a delightful boy and together with his better half he supports the guests with dedication and professionalism and, as if that were not enough, halfway through lunch... great emotion: we heard him playing Nuvole bianche by Ludovico Einaudi. Piera in the kitchen is comparable to a queen in her kingdom and delights everyone with her specialties. In conclusion, if you want to spend time in an authentic place, come to Cascina Piera and let yourself be enveloped by a truly pleasant and particular atmosphere.
