Perhaps one of the best restaurants where meat reigns supreme. The Florentine steak was excellent, and the various side dishes were also much appreciated.... The Chianti accompanied our dinner. Excellent service.

During my honeymoon in Florence, I had a must-try T-bone steak at the famous D'Auste. I searched for it on Naver and made a same-day reservation through KakaoTalk. They responded right away, making the reservation incredibly easy! Perhaps because it was December, the off-season, the restaurant wasn't crowded, and I had a comfortable meal. The T-bone steak was exceptionally delicious! I'm definitely going back :)

This place has such a great meaty aroma. There's no fishy smell at all, and the meat is so tender, I can see why so many people come here.

I might be biased But I highly recommend this place For several reasons Excellent staff...polite and wonderful Wonderful food And super value. Definitely recommended to say the least. Hugs to all the staff

The T-bone steak is absolutely delicious. If I had ordered it in Korea, it would have cost me over 200,000 won. I got the 1.3kg T-bone steak, side dishes, wine, and pasta for 90 euros, so it was delicious and a great value. You have to reserve the set menu separately through the KakaoTalk group chat. I think it's almost a 30-40% discount.

I made a reservation through KakaoTalk and came here and ate the Chris set. Since we are both huge beef lovers, we ate until we were full with the T-bone pasta, side dish, and wine set👍🏻

I came here because I heard you absolutely have to eat T-bone in Florence. It's delicious, friendly, and great. I'd definitely visit again.

La Trattoria Il Portale si trova molto vicino alla stazione di Santa Maria Novella. Abbiamo mangiato lì un giorno perché era vicino al nostro hotel, l'Hotel Embassy. Si tratta di un ristorante molto carino, con una bella decorazione e molto elegante. Il menu è abbastanza completo e hanno tutti i tipi di pasta e pizza, oltre a vari piatti di carne e pesce. Il cibo era molto gustoso e molto ben presentato. Le porzioni non erano molto abbondanti. Il prezzo non era male, anche se un po' più costoso rispetto agli altri ristoranti della zona. L'attenzione è stata buona.

08/12/2025: The best panna cotta in Florence. All the food is exceptional, and their house wine is excellent. Arrive before 7 pm to make a reservation and enjoy it. The service was incredible.
08/12/2025: Very nice and friendly place. Fast and accurate service. We had a first course, rigatoni with burrata (a whole burrata cheese is placed inside), and a pizza, which, although not a Neapolitan pizza, was really good, light, and above all well-topped. The price was definitely excellent for the quality of the product. Highly recommended.

09/12/2025: It's always crowded, it's very cramped, you mingle with other people, you step on each other's toes... but that's the beauty of it! A true Florentine wine shop, passed down from father to son, that I've been frequenting occasionally for 40 years. If one day it were to disappear or be transformed into something more chic and trendy, I would miss it. I can't give it 5 stars because it is what it is, but for the atmosphere it has, I'd give it 6!
