A friend who lived in Italy told me about it, so I looked into it and found out that reservations could be made via KakaoTalk. So I made a reservation for a set menu through KakaoTalk and went. I asked for the meat to be cooked Florentine-style, and it was medium-rare. It was perfect. I enjoyed it with a glass of red wine as I was feeling a bit under the weather.

I came with a friend, and the price was reasonable, so it was worth it! The portions were generous enough for two women!!! You can order medium rare and grill it on the grill. I also like the Arrabiata because it suits the Korean palate.

When I went, there was only one table, including me, and I ordered a T-bone steak by myself. I didn't order any sides, so they gave me three dipping sauces as a service. There was no wine by the glass, so I ordered beer. I made a reservation through the Fork app and got a 30% discount, and they said I could have bread, but I didn't want to waste my meat belly, so I didn't. Meat? It was delicious.

T-bone steak, vongole, wine. Everything was delicious. The vongole was a bit salty for Korean palates, but the vongole itself was delicious. The T-bone steak was delicious. Thanks to the Korean staff, I was able to order easily and receive excellent service.

The meat was thick, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside — absolutely delicious. The Scottona T‑bone steak, in particular, was outstanding. The bread served before the meal was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and it tasted even better with olive oil, salt, and pepper. The complimentary bread topped with ragù sauce was warm and delicious as well. There were five of us, and we ordered two T‑bone steaks and gnocchi with four kinds of cheese. We were all happily full by the end. The tiramisu was also fantastic. I came with friends this time, but I’d love to come back again with my kids next time. 10/01/2026: The restaurant is located on a hidden street off Via del Corso. This is a true Italian trattoria, family-owned and operated. We showed up a little late and it was busy—thank goodness we made reservations. We had some challenges ordering at first because the server didn't speak English. We think she was the owner's daughter because she called him "papa"! She had somewhat of an attitude initially, a bit grouchy, but things improved as the dinner progressed. The location is rustic and quite small with just a few tables, so it tends to be noisy, with lots of aromas and visuals of different dishes that can make it hard to decide what to order. We ordered an appetizer of crostini with burrata tartare (€16) which was decent, the bistecca alla Fiorentina for two, medium rare (€60), which was delicious—tender and juicy meat—insalata mista (€8) with fresh tomatoes and delicate dressing, insalata di patate (€8) which was not bad, and an amazing tiramisu (€8) plus coffee (€4). For drinks, we had beer (€4) and a carafe of red Rosso Bolgh, 1 liter (€18). The total bill was €130. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, so it was perfect for us.
29/12/2025: We stumbled upon this tavern by chance without a reservation, and the place was packed, but the owners were incredibly helpful and managed to find us a table! Very good, traditional food, served quickly! Recommended!

Trattoria San Lorenzo

06/01/2026: Giovanni, one of the staff members at the trattoria, was so professional, attentive, and friendly that we decided to visit twice. The excellent service makes this establishment stand out. Again, thank you so much, Giovanni, for making us feel so welcome.
04/01/2026: On the first day of my trip to Florence, I chose this restaurant for dinner out of several Tuscan restaurants. I arrived around 7pm on Sunday, January 4th, so there was no wait. I started off by ordering lasagna, ribollita, and peposo (beef stewed in red wine). Honestly, every dish was some of the best I've ever eaten. The seasonings were simple, yet had a hint of spice, giving it the feel of comforting local cuisine. The atmosphere of the staff also matched perfectly with the food and the interior of the restaurant, so I was very satisfied. I had planned to buy desserts from another street-side shop before returning to the hotel, but I thought it would be a shame not to try them at such a delicious restaurant, so I ordered tiramisu to finish. It was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely visit this restaurant again.
