The portions are generous and really delicious. It's quieter than other branches, so it was great for a leisurely meal!

The meat was exceptional. Both the tartare and the Florentine steak we ordered tasted excellent.
The service was also excellent: there was a misunderstanding about the cooking of the meat, but they immediately recooked the Florentine steak rare, just as we wanted.
The tiramisu was also excellent.

A great steak restaurant, very centrally located near the train station. The Florentine steak is definitely recommended, but they also offer first-class pasta dishes.

I had about 40 min before our train left but I really wanted to try this place. I explained the situation to the host and they got me seated, served us an amazing steak and out the door in less than 30 min. The food was great and the service was even better.

One of the must-try dishes in Florence is beef, so we decided to visit this place — and it was absolutely delicious! The steak was tender and flavorful, and the potatoes we ordered on the side were savory and perfectly cooked. If you’re looking for a great steak in Florence, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

La Trattoria Il Portale si trova molto vicino alla stazione di Santa Maria Novella. Abbiamo mangiato lì un giorno perché era vicino al nostro hotel, l'Hotel Embassy. Si tratta di un ristorante molto carino, con una bella decorazione e molto elegante. Il menu è abbastanza completo e hanno tutti i tipi di pasta e pizza, oltre a vari piatti di carne e pesce. Il cibo era molto gustoso e molto ben presentato. Le porzioni non erano molto abbondanti. Il prezzo non era male, anche se un po' più costoso rispetto agli altri ristoranti della zona. L'attenzione è stata buona.

Un sitio grande que parece tener buena carne. Pero basándome en lo que he comido es muy caro para la calidad de la comida. Los crostinis muy flojos. Sin sabor y con el pan blando. Sin gracia. La pasta no estaba mal. Pero la más floja que he comido en Italia. 4 euros por cubierto y además me pedían propina. No volveré
