Beautiful place right on the lake, very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent food, we enjoyed an excellent first course with whitefish ragù and delicious fried food. I also really liked the 70s-80s playlist!! Well done, we'll be back.

At Il Pirata you can eat divinely! I celebrated May 1st here on Lake Bolsena and we stumbled upon Il Pirata here by chance and fell in love with them and their cuisine. In a word: exceptional! The staff is TOP, they are very good with precise and punctual customer attention. Only compliments go to the lady at the checkout who welcomes all customers with the elegance that distinguishes her. The food is delicious, excellent quality whether you eat fish or meat. Personally I have only tasted fish and I highly recommend it. If you pass by Borgo dei Pescatori, Marta you can't help but stop for a meal (or even two) here at Il Pirata!!!!

Fantastic discovery. Excellent food, kindness and timing. The beautiful glass window allows you to glimpse the Martana island. The pier for mooring boats is very impressive. I will definitely be back!

04/08/2025: I went to the spa one weekend, and as I passed this restaurant, the smell filled the whole car. I went there before I left, and they served us incredible food! Dishes of unparalleled deliciousness! And the owner is truly fantastic. See you soon, Felicietta!

02/08/2025: We went for lunch, and the welcome was warm and attentive. The dishes were exquisite and carefully crafted, and the quality/price ratio was more than excellent. I highly recommend them!
30/07/2025: Everything was really delicious, the staff was young, friendly, and helpful. I would have given it 5 stars, but I find the cover charge a bit unreasonable: €3 per person seems excessive, especially considering there are no cloth tablecloths or special extras. For comparison, a liter of beer costs €6, a more than fair price. Other than that, the experience was more than positive: the restaurant is located at the foot of a wonderful village and is definitely worth a visit. I recommend it!
