I had dinner at Pigno at least 4 years ago but every year I promise myself to return if only to try the famous zuppa acqua pazza viterbese and the tiramisu, one of the best I have eaten in my life. I don't remember exactly what the rest of the guests consumed but I remember that at the end of the meal they were all satisfied and that after many years we remember it with nostalgia. The environment is rustic, a bit retro, large spaces. Discreet and fast service. The prices are honest and clearly displayed on the blackboard at the entrance to the restaurant. To try without any hesitation.

We had a very good meal in this restaurant. Spaghetti con vongole, polpette, carciofi alla romana, agnello e tiramisu - all very good and very nice owners :) Thanks again, with pleasure!

This was the only place open on a Monday afternoon for lunch past 2:30pm. It's not a popular time, and I was the only customer, but WOW, it was outstanding! I had to translate the posting board, and got a soup with beans, chickpeas, and other vegetables, and it was great - but the real star was the tomato based cod dish. Wow! I thought I'd had this elsewhere in Italy - and lived it - but this was by far the best. It was perfectly cooked, and the sauce, fabulous.

19/06/2025: Stumbled upon this place and it was a lovely surprise. Nice quiet cobbled street. We felt very welcomed. Amazing classic carbonara (whilst not on the menu, but they readily agreed to make it when we asked for it). So simple and so good! Lovely pasta Viterbese. Amazing classic Tiramisu - rich and creamy.
