I stayed three nights with my partner at the property and would highly recommend it for your stay in Mattinata. The hotel is five minutes from the sea (both the free beach and the campsite's private beach on the same road), surrounded by olive trees. The private beach and stunning sea are just as beautiful as the more famous Mattinatella. The furnishings are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is impeccable, and the room is spacious, with a small balcony where you can enjoy a nice cool breeze despite the August heat. Plus, there's ample free parking and several restaurants nearby. But what really makes the difference, in my opinion, is the staff's courtesy and attention to detail: they provided us with a free guide to the area, allowed us into our room even before check-in, and were always kind and helpful, offering directions and recommendations. We ate pizza at the hotel restaurant twice, and it was truly delicious! And here too, the courtesy of the wait staff stood out: one evening, we had to wait a bit for the pizza (really nothing special, just a few minutes), and to "apologize," they offered us two tomato bruschettas while we waited. Small details that mark quality service! The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful, mostly sweet, with a limited selection of savory options.

The setting is pretty, the room is clean. The (pebble) beach is about a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast buffet could have been more extensive. The staff is friendly; it's easier if you speak Italian.

Thanks to its quiet location, I was able to enjoy long walks and relax on the pebble beach, a five-minute walk away. The rooms are clean (impeccable daily cleaning) and spacious. The furnishings are functional but perhaps a little too basic; some structural improvements could be made (for example, an additional shelf and towel rack in the bathroom would be desirable and, in my opinion, appreciated). General amenities include free private parking, Wi-Fi in common areas and rooms (though not always reliable), a small relaxation area in the garden and solarium, and a reception with friendly, helpful, and professional staff. The breakfast buffet offers homemade cakes, croissants, and fresh fruit, while the savory options remain a bit basic. Finally, the value for money is impeccable. The hotel combines competitive prices with high-quality services: free Wi-Fi, on-site parking, and a partner beach. The stay is an authentic and relaxing experience, but there's room for further improvement. In conclusion, Hotel Il Melograno is an excellent base for those seeking relaxation surrounded by nature.

We booked dinner half an hour before our arrival. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The table setting was impeccable, with cotton tablecloths. We had a few appetizers and pizza. Everything was very good and the prices were reasonable. Recommended. 👍

A beautiful restaurant with excellent service. I wanted to photograph my fish platter, but I had to bite into it first because it was so appetizing. The wonderful evening, under the ancient olive trees with good food and good wine, will remain in our memories for a long time. Thank you all.
