Ristorante Il Grifone In Sirmione

Our favourite restaurant from the week we spent in Sirmione. Delicious food, great location, good service. Particularly recommend the tiramisu.

I went to Sirmione with my family on June 17th. While wandering around the city we had noticed this restaurant next to the castle, very quiet and cool, with a beautiful view of the lake. At lunch time we decide to stop. They let us sit in the external part, on one side the magnificent view of the lake, on the other the castle, and plants above us. Despite the hot day it was really comfortable, few insects and even though we were close to the route pedestrian not a sound could be heard. I ordered the pasta with lake fish and taralli, very good, well mixed. The soft mixed fried food, the only flaw is the prawns cleaned from the entrails... The fish very fresh and tasty. Overall a nice gem in Sirmione, the atmosphere of the place did a lot, the food was good and the staff were extremely friendly, I would definitely go back.

Excellent location of the restaurant, located almost on the lake shore and adjacent to the castle, a clean and attentive place. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. The courses are excellent and tasty, quality food cooked impeccably, with fair portions. Wide choice on the wine menu. Recommended 😋

This was our second time at Il Grifone, and unfortunately, it was a bitter disappointment. The food quality has declined since our last visit 2 years ago. Sadly, this was previously our favorite restaurant in Sirmione, but the food is very poor now. We ordered the same dishes we had previously, but they were nothing like before. I understand that the cost of living has gone up for everyone, but the quality was very poor. We left with a full plate of pasta, and if the restaurant were to ask why we didn't say anything, it's because they never cared enough to ask how our meal was. If they had asked, I would have told them about our dissatisfaction.

Magnificent place with stunning lake view. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Prices are normal but a 0.75cl bottle of water for 5 euros I consider it a mistake. If it weren't for this detail, I would have given it the highest rating.

Incredible atmosphere right on the lake, fine food and good service. Definitely worth a visit.

Restaurant within the walls of Sirmione and with lake view. Prompt and courteous service. The pasta first courses are good. Covered with high price like drinks.
