Sunday lunch with a view... A truly timeless place. Even though we hadn't booked and were accompanied by a medium-sized dog, they greeted us with a smile and immediately found a solution. The place is very beautiful, with a terrace overlooking the greenery. The service on the day we went was very slow and not particularly friendly (except for the girl with braids). We ordered a Florentine steak and got a rib-eye steak, without any explanation. When I pointed this out, they told me it was true, but that they still cost the same per kilo (I don't think so, since the Florentine steak contains the fillet, which is the most valuable part, and we ordered a Florentine anyway). In the end, the girl with braids "gave us a small discount," which rather than make up for the disappointment, brought the price back to fairness, given that it was a rib-eye steak.

Beautiful place, with friendly staff who welcomed us warmly, beautiful location with breathtaking views... Le Defenze wine recommended, truly organized and helpful staff, that makes the difference! We had an appetizer for two, a really good mix of bruschetta... We took a break for the second course, which was really plentiful, just the right amount, with crostini that allowed you to enjoy the Bolgheri wine with its value, then came the second course, the meat, which was the more than right choice! Two courses, for me, a fillet with truffles and to say special is an understatement! The meat was tender and cooked just as I wanted, the waiter understood correctly and took it back to the kitchen, even the second course of tagliata was perfect, the presentation of the dish was elegant and beautiful to look at!! We chose the terrace to enjoy the view even if the weather wasn't the best... ps the meat was always hot even if we were outside, we enjoyed it!! Beautiful restaurant with a fabulous terrace, we were there on a Sunday in September, taking a walk through the wonderful village of Bolgheri... everything very good, and a stunning view as a backdrop... I highly recommend it and on a positive note they have gluten free bread and pasta😍
