I was here for dinner, and the view and atmosphere are fantastic. There's a children's playground right next door, making it very family-friendly. We got a table spontaneously around 7 p.m. on a weekday without a reservation. The food is okay, although all my dishes were very fatty. It's good value for money. We had pasta, meat, and a vegetarian option. The staff is very friendly, but some tables weren't served for a long time (one group left before being served), and several items in our order were incorrect. If you'd rather enjoy the Mediterranean evening atmosphere of the start, you should go to a different restaurant.

We were really looking forward to this visit. Unfortunately, the restaurant fell short of our expectations. The drinks were forgotten and, after we reminded them, arrived after the meal. My wife and daughter were finished when my son's and my food arrived. The side dishes for my meat had been on the table for 10 minutes and were cold, but there was still no sign of the meat. The meat—a 1.2 kg Florentine T-bone steak—wasn't shown to us beforehand, nor was we asked how it was done. It was served rare, as is apparently the local custom. It was okay for me, but for my son, with whom I wanted to share it, and my wife, who also wanted a piece or two, it was inedible as it was. Medium-rare would have been fine. Since we were afraid of getting it back done if we left it to cook, I basically ate it by myself. So my son munched on a few potatoes without any motivation. I've had better results at other restaurants in the area. Tip for the owners: Serve it on a hot cast iron plate, so everyone can adjust the gargard a little if necessary. The waitress was running around a lot, but didn't pay attention to the guests or the tables. Then my son and my wife's plates were already being cleared away while I was still eating, which isn't great either. The ambiance is nice, the food is okay, but we'll try other restaurants in the area in the future.

We had dinner, and I must say there was nothing wrong with it. The location at sunset, on the hills of Bolgheri overlooking the sea, and the faint tinge of the sunset's reddish glow created a magical and wonderful atmosphere. The service was prompt, and the dishes were truly excellent, and of excellent quality. Not to mention the wines, excellent quality and a wide selection for all palates. Even the most discerning. If you want a I recommend it with my eyes closed!!!

We spontaneously visited the small town of Bolgheri in the evening. Highly recommended and very cozy with its many small restaurants. We managed to get a seat at the restaurant with a stunning view of the sea. Although it was limited to 1.5 hours because we didn't have a reservation, it was perfectly adequate for us. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. We felt very comfortable there that evening.

I consider it my favorite restaurant. Rosa and her entire family are always welcoming and friendly, ready to fulfill every request... whether it's a table for four for a mid-August lunch or a large group of 13... I'd rather not share my experience, to keep everything as intimate as possible, BUT IL GRANAIO truly deserves it!!!

We hebben hier met ons gezin gegeten en genoten van het prachtige uitzicht en de ontzettend vriendelijke service. De vrouw in de bediening begreep ons niet altijd even goed – we hadden onze bruschetta graag als voorgerecht gewild, maar deze kwam tegelijk met het hoofdgerecht. Geen ramp, dat kan gebeuren. Qua eten vonden we de ribbetjes en worstjes wat aan de eenvoudige kant. De lasagna en Toscaanse spaghetti voor ons zoontje waren prima in orde. Over het algemeen is het eten prima, maar niet bijzonder. Wat deze plek echt bijzonder maakt, is de kindvriendelijkheid. Er is leuk speeltuintje aanwezig, waar je vanaf je tafel goed zicht op hebt. Ons zoontje van 1,5 kreeg zelfs zijn eigen kinderbestek – heel attent! Er werd zelfs spontaan speelgoed naar hem toe gebracht. Geweldig! We hebben geen stilzitter, dus voor ons was dit een ideale en ontspannen plek om als gezin te eten. Alleen al voor de sfeer, het uitzicht en de kindvriendelijkheid komen we hier graag nog eens terug.
