A restaurant in the Coltano area. The outside setting isn't the most beautiful, but the inside is welcoming. The appetizers are average, the first courses are truly exceptional, and you'd order three courses. Unfortunately, we went down for the Florentine steak; it could have been better, cooked to perfection and tender.
Overall, a positive experience. We'll definitely return, hoping to find everything up to par with the first courses. At that point, I'll justify the trip and the price, which isn't among the cheapest anyway.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful meal. The cuisine was excellent, carefully prepared, and of high quality, with truly perfect flavors. The homemade desserts are fantastic. The wine list is also excellent, with a very good selection and truly interesting dessert wines. A restaurant we'll definitely return to.

Il Granaio is a restaurant that knows how to welcome its customers, especially during the Christmas season, when the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect place for a dinner with family or friends. The menu is very varied, offering a wide selection of dishes ranging from local tradition to more original preparations. I had the pleasure of trying the pappardelle with wild boar, which was a real success: flavorful and well-seasoned, I was definitely satisfied.
However, my experience with the Florentine steak was a bit different. The dish, served at €5.50 per 100g, unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. The side of the meat was burned, likely due to the flaking of the fat, and the meat was a bit tough, despite the fact that it was Pisan mucco, a type of meat that can account for a certain toughness. This was promptly reported to the waiter, who then called the owner to intervene. However, I quickly felt a bit dismissed, without much explanation or further elaboration on the situation.
As for the price, I consider it medium-high, but overall the restaurant is still a good choice for a dinner out, especially if you're looking for a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Overall, the rating is positive, but there's still room for improvement in some areas.
