An excellent Umbrian restaurant in the Pavia area. Excellent truffle strangozzi and good meat. The paired wines are always Umbrian with a wide range.

In the historic center of Stradella, in an old building with a sign from 1927, we ate tagliatelle with mushrooms, a tasty Milanese cutlet, a particular dessert of pear cooked in chocolate accompanied by a good Bonarda. Friendly and helpful owner, as well as the staff. Worth visiting are the historic center and the accordion museum, incomprehensibly closed on Sundays. Then also go for a tour of Casteggio, very interesting.

Wonderful experience in this place located in the center of Stradella. Excellent food, excellent hospitality and professionalism. I will definitely return!!!

We stopped here on our way from Dolomites to France for lunch with our kido. Such a nice experience! The meat (beef steak and lamb)was sooo good that our son even did not finish his fries which he always asks. We have visited lot of posh restaurants in Dolomites and this was definately top quality! At first glance we were not sure whether it is not too posh, but we felt comfortable with the kid. Staff was super attentive, prices low when you compare what you get. If you have a chance, go there!

The venue is refined and suitable for a business dinner or an intimate evening. The staff is helpful, kind and quick. The starters are good, in particular the pot-cooked onion and the veal steak. The rib was nervous and a little fatty, I didn't like it (but it's a matter of taste) and therefore I recommend taking something else. Medium/high prices, more justified by the quality of the place than by the quality of the food.

Scelto in base alle buone recensioni di TripAdvisor, confermo la qualità del ristorante. Al centro di Stradella, la sala molto gradevole, personale riservato e professionale. Menù con piatti tipici abbastanza vario. Servizio molto attento, ordinato il primo (caramelle) burro e salvia, filetto di manzo molto tenero. Prezzi onesti. Passando da Stradella ritornerò senza alcun dubbio.

Ho cenato presso questo ristorante per la prima volta e devo dire che sono stato davvero molto bene. Una serata tra amici, accompagnata da un ottimo servizio al tavolo e altrettanto ottima la qualità dei prodotti. Carta dei vini soddisfacente. Complimenti per le carni proposte e la cottura perfetta. Vale la pena tornarci una seconda volta, una terza e ancora.

Ristorante dal Toscano

14/11/2023: Ma ha chiesto il ristorante???chiedo perché non risulta da nessuna parte se non sui siti dove si lasciano recensioni come questo
29/09/2023: Si trova nel paesino di Cergnago, in posizione periferica ( il ristorante è ben segnalato). Si posteggia lungo la via oppure un centinaio di metri prima, in una piazzetta. Come antipasto vengono proposti anche taglieri o un "mix" ( consigliato così assaggerete un po' di tutto...strepitosa la trippa....). I primi piatti proposti sono pici e pappardelle, con diversi sughi abbinati, ma la regina del menù è sicuramente la costata... Potrete scegliere peso e tipo ed abbinarla anche a filetto e controfiletto. Diverse le proposte per i dolci ( anche se noi, esagerando abbiamo terminato, sostituendo ai dolci, una porzione di lampredotto!!!). Buona anche la proposta dei vini. Il servizio è gestito con cortesia e simpatia ed i prezzi sono corretti. Il locale non è molto grande, quindi consiglio sempre di prenotare.
