Il Galletto is a historic trattoria in Sarzana, just steps from the Firmafede fortress, making it a convenient choice for those visiting this charming town. The quality-price ratio is truly excellent: the trattoria offers both meat and seafood dishes, with the option of a tasting menu and generous portions. The homemade tortelli with ragù are excellent, as are the sliced ​​beef served hot on stone, and the sgabei, dry and accompanied by excellent cured meats. The staff is friendly and attentive to their guests' needs. It was truly a pleasant discovery. We will definitely be back!

Overall, we didn't have a bad experience, but some things weren't great. Even with two stoves, the place wasn't very warm. The waitress was nice but not too quick with certain things, like immediately telling you which dishes weren't available. The menu was well-designed and had a good selection. The dishes: here we need to split the discussion into two parts: appetizers, first courses, and second courses. As for the appetizers and first courses, the dishes were well-made, carefully prepared, and above all, delicious. The second courses were very poor, with little edible content and very little finishing. I personally had a sliced ​​steak and a tartare. The sliced ​​steak was truly miserable, poorly cut, and equally cooked, with cheese barely fitting the top. The tartare was the worst I've ever eaten; the dark meat was bitter and cold. Desserts were okay. I've been wanting to go there for years, and I expected better. It's not the best, but it's okay once in a while.

A restaurant near the center of Sarzana offering daily and à la carte menus. A good selection of dishes; I had spaghetti allo scoglio for lunch. It tasted good, but the seafood was a bit limited. Average value for money.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way down from the Sarzanello Fortress. We'd noticed it while driving by. On our way back, we stopped in, and it was a wonderful surprise. Friendly staff, excellent food, and a pleasant location. Highly recommended. Excellent value.
