Excellent home-style restaurant, the portions are generous and all the dishes are delicious. Prices are low compared to the local average. The service is a bit homey but in keeping with the atmosphere.

First experience at the Gabbiano restaurant in Marotta!
Super generous portions, you can even see the photos; the first course comes on a tray! Two people can easily eat there.
The portion of mussels is served in a baking dish. I've never eaten so many mussels, delicious and well-cooked.
The fried calamari...
Besides being delicious, it's nicely drained of oil.
A portion that would easily satisfy two people.
Very reasonable prices, excellent food, and on Wednesdays and Thursdays you can sing and listen to music!!
We'll be back soon!

You have to book at least a day in advance; people come from all over!

I went to a restaurant for dinner with my family on a Saturday evening. I had a great time, the food was good, the service was good, and my compliments to the restaurant owners, waiters and chefs.

Recommended by friends, we booked on a random Thursday.
The place was packed!
Unfortunately, and I mean UNFORTUNATELY, we couldn't order the very inviting main course because we were really too full.
The portions could be described as exaggerated, and the quality is spectacular.
The price was definitely off the market (in a good way), definitely affordable.
Congratulations for your kindness and hospitality.

Il locale si trova sulla statale in direzione nord alle porte di Marotta. Non è molto grande, una sala interna e una veranda coperta, i tavoli sono tanti forse troppi. Qui si viene x mangiare cozze raguse, primi di pesce ( troppo conditi) ottimo il fritto, tutto in porzioni molto abbondanti,un po scarsa la grigliata di pesce. Buona la qualità generale, ottimi i prezzi! Un consiglio, evitate le serate karaoke specialmente se oltre al dj è presente un suonatore di tromba!! E un gruppo di pseudo ma convinti cantanti . La riprova? Tutto il personale appena può, con la scusa di fumare esce dal locale!!

Ci siamo stati a cena, vedevamo sempre il ristorante pieno quindi abbiamo deciso di provare e siamo stati colpiti sia dalla qualità che soprattutto dalla quantità! Abbiamo preso un antipasto di mare freddo, tutto buono ma un plauso particolare all'insalata di polpo con patate! Poi abbiamo ordinato due primi e li appena arrivato uno dei due non ci potevo credere, ci si poteva mangiare tranquillamente in due se non in tre! Prezzi nella norma, bravi, ci ritorneremo sicuramente!
