We had the pleasure of dining in this very high-level restaurant and we can say without hesitation that it was an extraordinary experience, from every point of view. Since our arrival we were welcomed with great warmth: the staff was kind, professional and at the same time very human and welcoming. The service was impeccable: attentive but never intrusive, with a particular attention to detail that is rarely found elsewhere. The menu immediately won us over, and every dish lived up to expectations, if not beyond. We started with some truly exceptional liver crostini: creamy, well-balanced in flavour, and served on crusty bread, prepared to perfection. Next, the pappardelle with venison: a first course that speaks of tradition and territory, with a basket of handmade parmesan and a tasty, rich and fragrant ragù. But the highlight came with the cuts, truly "super top": tender, juicy meat, cooked to perfection and accompanied by side dishes that enhanced the taste without ever covering it. Every bite was pure pleasure. Everything was accompanied by a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere with attention to the smallest details. You can perceive the passion and dedication of those who run this place, and the desire to make every customer feel special. Definitely coming back, and with great enthusiasm! A place that deserves to be known, recommended and experienced more than once.

I had lunch with mixed cold cuts and a plate of tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. The quantity-quality/price ratio is positive, assortment of well-made and well-seasoned cured meats and tagliatelle. Service present but not pressing and possibility to park in front of the restaurant.

A very excellent restaurant.The food was very good and fresh also for vegetarians and people with celiac disease. The are a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant but enough parking spaces in the area of the restaurant nearby the Casp walking distance 5 minutes or piazza del mercato.So when you are in the area you should visit this restaurant. Only 6 minutes from the autostrada exit Badia. We will return for sure.

Incastonato nell'Appennino Tosco-Emiliano, Il Fungo regala una vista suggestiva ed affascinante dal primo momento in cui si mette piede nel locale! I proprietari sono molto gentili ed accoglienti. I piatti sono squisiti e le porzioni abbondanti. Come si evince dal nome, il fungo è il RE della cucina: fritto, con le pappardelle o su una tagliata e' un'eccellenza di questo ristorante! Qualità della materia prima e calore della proprietà fanno di questo locale una tappa obbligata per chiunque si trovi in zona!
