During the week I was with colleagues at (𝐁𝐆) and it turned out to be a great choice!
Regional dishes and traditional Piacenza specialties are at the center of their offering.
Among the appetizers you absolutely must try 𝑰𝒍 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆, with a selection of cured meats ranging from coppa Piacenza, to culaccia, to Bergamo salami, cooked pancetta the "Giovanna" and cooked shoulder the "Proibita". It is served with a PHENOMENAL Russian salad and giardiniera. Everything was excellent, including the bread and focaccias made by them.
We also tried the 𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒂 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒂, an onion cream creamed with butter and parmesan and then the Parmesan cheese served with flakes of parmesan.
In the first courses I tasted a must of the Piacenza culinary tradition: the 𝒑𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒊 𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒔𝒐̀. They are dumplings made of flour and breadcrumbs seasoned with bean sauce, lard and tomato. A simple but at the same time very tasty dish.
On the menu there are also the three meat 𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒊 creamed with roast sauce, the 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝒅𝒊 𝒛𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒂 with poured butter and sage and some delicious 𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒊 𝒂𝒍𝒍'𝒖𝒐𝒗𝒐 with white truffle, weighed and sliced directly at the table.
Finally, with the desserts we tried the 𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒆 and an excellent alcoholic 𝒛𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒆 served in a cup. The photograph that I didn't have time to photograph was also excellent 😅
I will definitely return to this restaurant because I liked it very much and also because I am curious to try the experience of dining in their cellar!

I had the pleasure of dining at the Il Frate restaurant in Urgnano and was really impressed. The place is very nice and welcoming, with a warm and familiar atmosphere. The staff is very kind, attentive and quick, and makes you feel at ease straight away.
I opted for the white truffle dinner, and I have to say it was one of the most amazing dining experiences I've ever had. The truffle was fresh and fragrant, and the combinations with the other ingredients were perfect. The raw materials used are all of excellent quality, and you can feel the chef's passion for his work.
The price is proportionate to what you ate and drank, and I think it is excellent value for money.
If you are looking for a high-end dining experience, I highly recommend trying Ristorante Il Frate.

Una piacevolissima serata in questo storico ristorante che da tempo volevo provare. Location vera ed autentica, un’aria da vecchia trattoria di qualità , con un piccolo spazio esterno. Si viene accolti come vecchi amici, un’ informalita’ che crea un atmosfera rilassata davvero piacevole. Menu’ con piatti della tradizione ma con guizzi creativi. La qualità si sente così come la mano esperta della cucina. Lista vini discreta. Come dicevo un plauso va allo staff in sala e al giovane responsabile, tanto entusiasmo e voglia di fare non sono cosa comune. Andateci per passare una bellissima serata…..noi non mancheremo di tornarci.
P.s ero ospite , ma dando un’occhiata ai prezzi del menu’ , il conto sarà una piacevolissima sorpresa.

Business lunch, elegant but not pretentious environment, attentive service. Excellent food and in the right quantities, I will return. The boy at the checkout was quick to enter all the data to issue an invoice. Too bad I couldn't pay with Satispay.

Really nice place, the meat starter is fantastic and those who have also had the fish starter can appreciate it. Generous doses on the plates, it's not a restaurant, don't think you'll stuff yourself here. A little slow in service that's why 4/5. However, the staff was very helpful. Definitely good first and second courses with dishes off the menu that are recommended and good for you. The bread they make is excellent, as are the breadsticks. As an entrée they offered a cream of mushrooms that was nothing short of spectacular as well as the Russian salad which instead of mayo used a tuna sauce made by them. I highly recommend
