I was actually a guest with my wife at the Giotto hotel where this restaurant is located. Beautiful terrace with an unparalleled view of the valley below. Worth a try even just for the location.

Great service. Great view. We had the tasting menu which was very good. Some hits. some misses-but overall an excellent meal with wonderful wine selection.

Sono venuto in questo ristorante principalmente per una pausa rilassante, e perché attratto dalla magnifica vista che si gode in questa invitante sala del Fontebella Palace Hotel . Con estremo piacere ho constatato che qui anche la ristorazione, per servizio, creatività e felici combinazioni degli ingredienti,risulta eccellente. Prezzo medio -alto , meritoriamente giustificato dall' insieme di quanto proposto.

Modern and panoramic restaurant in the center of Assisi. Refined cuisine with selected products, also possibility of a tasting menu. Compliments to the chef for the preparation of the dishes proposed for the balance of taste and well presented. Good wines on offer, even a wine created by them as well as the oil. Excellent fast and professional service.

Restaurant recommended by the Michelin guide, located in the heart of Assisi, it offers a different experience compared to the gastronomic activities in the area. Choice between various tasting menus, which I recommend, or à la carte. Attentive and prepared service, choice of wine guided by an expert sommelier. Personally I was very happy with the experience. I recommend trying something different

We had an amazing lunch here - the food, wine, and view were all great. Each dish was beautiful and much thought and care had been put into every element on the plates. We are vegetarian and though at first we thought there might not be many options, it was no problem - there were several great options for each course and we had a hard time choosing which dish was our favorite! The service was friendly and attentive, just the right amount of attention. We live in the DC area with several Michelin star restaurants around us and il Frantoio definitely lived up to that high standard! We’ll be back the next time we’re in town.

Il locale è molto carino, musica in sottofondo, gradevole l'arredo e la posizione è meritevole. La scelta nel menù è particolare e ovviamente non per tutti i palati. Il cibo è ottimo ed è un'esperienza da provare.

27/05/2025: A San Feliciano splendidi panorami alimentano sensazioni di pace e cari ricordi (visita a "la Zizaia" con Faliero Marcianti). Francesco e il suo staff ti coccolano con ricette antiche e nuove. Pesce fresco, preparato perfettamente, ti mette in crisi per una scelta. Per fortuna la bravissima Sofia ci aiuta. Applausi allora per: -latterini fritti -tegamaccio -grigliata e frittura mista -carpa regina in porchetta -capitone allo spiedo. A presto.
05/02/2025: Sono passato per puro caso essendo di passaggio per una visita al lago Trasimeno. Pranzo veloce ma pasta al pesce deliziosa. Essendo di un albero mi sarei aspettato qualcosa in meno quindi 5 stelle meritate!

19/07/2025: Besides being a bakery and a café, they also sell bread and rolls. The bread is cheaper than at the supermarket, and it's locally produced. Local supermarkets only sell partially baked and frozen bread, which is reheated in the oven before being sold (I don't buy it). They only have bread made and sold here, and it's cheaper than at the supermarket. If you need it, buy it here.
05/05/2025: Despite having driven past it many times, I only entered this place yesterday morning. On Sunday he allowed me to park right in front and, before heading up to the center on foot, I "recharged" myself with an excellent Venetian and an espresso. In simple things you can see the ability of those who make them: excellent brioche and excellent coffee, kindness of those who served them to me, correct prices... a precious GOOD MORNING PERUGIAN!
