A small treasure chest that gives you new details, colors and emotions every day. We found a place near beautiful beaches and splendid places, elegant rooms, cleanliness, an excellent sweet and savory breakfast (also on request), a real swimming pool also for swimming in October. A special memory goes to Mrs. Ilaria, a special hostess who made us feel at ease as if we were at a friend's house.

Enchanted place, owners always available and very kind. The beds in the rooms are comfortable with large and well-organized bathrooms. You can't ask for anything better! The breakfast is also sensational, everything fresh and lots of choice. The cannoli were a much appreciated treat! Truly a pearl, highly recommended.

Our stay at Scilla Maris was remarkable! The hosts are not only super friendly and provide a lovely breakfast, they are also warmhearted and love being hosts. Ilaria is also a fantastic chef and thus we several times enjoyed having a Sicilian dinner at Scilla Maris (they also serve very good local wines like Etna Bianco, Grillo..) The rooms are spacious and climatized, the beds are very comfortable.

We had an excellent stay at Scilla Maris. It’s a small hotel run by a couple, Ilaria and Raimondo, and their staff who are very hospitable. There are ~10 rooms and a nice pool with plenty of space to lie down or to do a few laps. The rooms are a good size and kept clean. There's everything you need: a safe, fridge, sky TV, a terrace to sit on etc. Breakfast is simple but very good although not cooked except scrambled eggs. There was plenty of local fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cannoli, cold meats, cheese etc. The restaurant isn’t open to non-residents currently but on an ad hoc basis we had dinner on three of the evenings. The dishes were limited to a few suggestions and mostly seafood. They were all very good dinners. Otherwise we went out to recommended restaurants in Marzememi and Pachino. For this hotel you need a car, it’s up a gravel drive and several kms from a town. But it's a very good quiet location. Nearby are lots of opportunities for sunshine, great beaches, nature reserve walks, a nearby small town, Marzememi, by the water with lots of restaurants and Noto is nearby with lots to see and eat. We definitely recommend the hotel and areas.

my husband and I stayed for a week, the structure is very beautiful, in an exceptional position to visit the entire south/east coast from Catania to Ragusa, two minutes from the reserve and the sea, excellent level of cleanliness, beautiful pool. I would like to make a criticism, hoping it will be interpreted from a constructive perspective: the breakfast, contrary to what I have read, perhaps due to the recent closure of the restaurant, does not do justice to a 4-star structure, we only consumed industrial supermarket baked goods and it's a shame considering the levels of Sicilian pastry making.
