Ristorante Il Cucco In Montaione

The restaurant was almost empty at the end of October, I made a reservation but we were the only customers. We chose to eat Stracciata noci e gorgonzola and Pappardelle al cinghiale which were very good like in all of Tuscany, I also ordered Taglliata al tartufo estivo which came quite raw even though I asked for well done, Cotolette d'agnello alla griglia very good but the portion is a bit small compared to other restaurants and I also tried Uovo al tegamino con tartufo estivo which were just baked eggs, nothing special. Friendly staff, fast, but being the only customers, we ate in about 45 minutes, even though we had planned to spend more time at the restaurant.

We discovered the restaurant by chance - and ate there 3 days in a row. The service is friendly, competent & attentive and the food is excellent. Any time!

I had a super delicious pasta dish with wild boar. To match the beautiful view, there was also live music. There is definitely more than value for money voted.

En udmærket oplevelse, men ægte italiensk var den ikke. Maden var gennemsnitlig, men ikke dårlig. Betjeningen lidt forvirrende, men venlig.

If I were to write a book I would dedicate it to the service of young people... here you can say you find the real Tuscany... a bit like the films of Aldo Giovanni and Giacomo... where you can really hear yourself being told it's high season... the young kids are truly exceptional... even after the end of the service they can give you a smile and a cuddle like at home... homar and danile are very young but you are sure capable of providing an excellent service...

Let me start by saying that we are a couple of people in the sector for many many years, here we have found excellent quality food, young and very willing and professional staff, especially the dining room staff. The mix of accommodation and catering is perfect throughout... Recommended for couples and families. Dogs allowed.

Great atmosphere, great views, great menu with dedicated vegan and kids section. Live music we enjoyed very much. Nice food, not the best we had but certainly hit the spot. Parking right outside. As a party of 12 with grandparents kids between 12yo to 6mo, no reservations, this place ticked all the boxes!
