Welcoming environment, friendly staff and super clean rooms

I took one of the guided tours that are regularly offered so I could see the art collection, which was stunning and well presented. The only note concerns the guide himself, who has had this task for several years, but in my opinion not with that added value. She was undoubtedly prepared and showed great passion for what she was telling, but she was not an art historian. I am convinced that such a figure would instead have allowed us to grasp different nuances and details of such a rich collection which inevitably must be seen in a limited time. In any case, the visit is absolutely recommended. The collection, including paintings, ceramics, tapestries and furniture, is exquisite.

I organized my son's baptism in this magical location, full of breathtaking views, care and kindness. I chose a menu with a rich welcome buffet, first course, second course, dessert and cake. The truly rich buffet, high quality raw materials. Fresh cut raw ham, fried gnocco, croutons with lard, something indescribable... A first course with fresh pasta, perfect cooking, abundant dishes and even a refresher. Second course of meat, it was really difficult to make 50 cuts that had to come out at the same time. Yet they arrived at the table perfectly cooked and very soft. Dessert, cake, music, wine, dancing, singing, smiles… Accompanied by such professionalism and kindness in every person I dealt with. In the lounge, at the reception, in the offices. Our heartfelt day in a perfect setting.

Very good hotel. Clean and tidy rooms, very friendly staff and great location. The garden is a park, integrated into the hotel, is beautiful and has a breathtaking view.

It lasts about 90 minutes, the rooms on the ground floor are beautiful and it is truly exciting to admire the masterpieces of ceramics, paintings, sculptures, tapestries, antique furniture that belonged to the collector Guido Cagnola, a friend of Bernard Berenson, now in the hands of the Vatican. One star less because the exhibition is not well maintained, several spotlights are broken and you have to make do with your cell phone flashlight, for example two tables by Ercole de Roberti, a crucifix by Alessandro Algardi are totally in the dark.
