My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to a special evening, we booked here and we were thrilled: we are not from Mantua and in their à la carte menu there was the possibility to choose from many typical dishes. I opted for the highly recommended pumpkin tortelli and as per the capone, my boyfriend opted for a pasta with sardines and calamari. We were sincerely impressed by the excellent service, a maitre who was always attentive to our every need and the very suggestive environment. The desserts sweetly concluded an experience that we will certainly do again when we return to Mantua! Compliments.

I was recently in this restaurant and the experience definitely lived up to expectations. The very nice environment. The menu offers refined dishes, made with the highest quality ingredients. Each course is a small masterpiece, not only for the taste - truly excellent - but also for the presentation, impeccably crafted. The service was impeccable: the waiters are professional, attentive and always available, with an in-depth knowledge of the dishes and wines. It's my first time since the new management of this splendid restaurant was inaugurated. Currently in Mantua, in my opinion, it has no rivals. The quality of the raw materials and the refinement of the dishes are exceptional! The service, considering that an extremely trained sommelier is available for the choice of wines and spirits, is up to the prices offered. The only complaint was that I was charged for a bottle of mineral water that I didn't take (I realized this later by looking at the receipt). In any case, I recommend "Il Cigno" for those who want to try a unique culinary experience outside the traditional mold. I returned after 5 days and I must confirm the high quality of the menu offered. Service worthy of the prices offered. I confirm that, in my opinion, it is the best restaurant in Mantua. I will definitely be back!

I went last night, on Easter Monday, with a friend to this place, booked by chance on The Fork. The summary is simple: I can't find any faults. The environment is refined and designer (only us were out of place, one in tracksuits and one in jeans and a t-shirt, but we didn't know it!) and the dishes I tasted were nothing short of wonderful. I ordered Giudia-style artichokes, turbot with fennel sauce and snail pesto and chantilly cream millefeuille with vanilla ice cream: all truly delicious. The turbot, for example, was both tasty and delicate, a truly balanced dish. An honorable mention goes to the service (among which the beautiful tablecloths, the elegant crockery, the semi-wholemeal bread with butter, the welcome entrée and the small pastries also stand out) and, in particular, to the discreet, courteous and impeccable sommelier/waitress who accompanied us on this journey of flavours. A reasonable bill, especially if I think that, in other establishments of the same level, I happened to pay more for a service that, at times, left something to be desired.

Siamo andati incuriositi dalle buone recensioni del locale, ma purtroppo non mi trovo completamente d'accordo. Per un locale di questo calibro, dove il coperto costa 7 euro mi aspettavo decisamente di più, sia per la mise en place che devo dire era piuttosto spoglia e anche per quanto riguarda l'entree di benvenuto che invece risulta un po' banale. Nota positivissima sono i camerieri disponibili e gentilissimi. Noi abbiamo ordinato due tartare di tonno e purtroppo la mia era completamente ghiacciata, sentivo letteralmente i pezzettini di ghiaccio, quindi il sapore si è completamente perso. Spaghetti al nero di seppia con ostriche in tempura buoni ma a mio gusto nulla di così elevato, oltre al fatto che la porzione era veramente minima. In conclusione, non male sicuramente ma per i prezzi che hanno e la nomea che si sono fatti uno si aspetta decisamente di più a livello di menu e particolarità dei piatti.

In centro. A dieci minuti a piedi da piazza Sordello, il Cigno è un ottimo ristorante dove nulla è lasciato al caso. Ci ero stato anni fa, ci sono tornato i primi di gennaio con la famiglia e devo dire che ho avuto conferma dell’ottimo ricordo Prodotti di qualità, ben cucinati, molto buono anche il servizio e i tempi di attesa Sommelier professionale, preparata e attenta Anche il cameriere che ci ha servito è stato molto bravo. Il prezzo è in linea con il livello del ristorante. Lo consiglio per qualunque tipo di occasione e tornerò sicuramente quando passerò da Mantova
